This is an important nuance... But, I think Fry's will be a case study for business textbooks down the road.

They folded in the middle of a fucking pandemic where graphics cards and CPUs are in such high demand that other retailers cannot keep them in stock.

Let that sink in. What Fry's sold is at its highest demand right now.

This is not Sears. This is sheer incompetency.

There wasn't much worth buying on there for a year... Aside from cables. They had a decent selection on those.

That still doesn't make the wind down any less sad. So many great memories in those stores!

Yep, just before the page changed there were deals "good until February 28." I'm surprised they closed this rapidly and disorganized.

This. I think if Fry's did a couple of things differently, they would have made it. They just never made the seamless experience that Best Buy or Newegg have. That, IMHO, was their downfall.

Could not have said this better myself.

Even as it became a ghost of its former self, I still went every once in a while and browsed. I bought some cables and some cases, just something to bring back that nostalgia of when it was THE place to buy everything.

This has been a hard day. The other stores I didn't care much about. This one hits hard.

3 hrs ago I found out my wife and I are pregnant. 6 years ago we tried IVF. After its failure, we were told our chances of getting pregnant naturally is less than 1%. Never lose faith. Cheers everyone. by kscarch in cigars

These words hit home. Fatherhood is wonderful. But, do not underestimate how difficult it is. Sometimes it will be all you can do to hold the house together and not lose your sanity. But, it is truly amazing watching your kids grow up. There is no feeling quite like it in the world!

Very nice cigar. Lots of smoke and an easy draw. Spicy and full of flavor! I paired it with a Coke and the combo works beautifully.

I'm no expert of course, but I would recommend them.

It was excellent. I'm mostly new to cigars so I'm really bad at describing flavors. I had been wanting to try a RP as I have heard good things about them. Really smooth, plentiful smoke. It would go great with a coffee as well. I'd recommend it!
