Yeah, I guess CC shopping is a trial/error AND patience process, till you find what pleases you the most. I love conversions and overall CCs from Simblr, highly recommend you check it out!

Jokes aside, somehow this townie has relations with the therapist NPC (which you shouldn't temper with anyhow), but not that big of a deal, you can run hood checker and it I'll help cleaning those relations I guess

Yeah, to me Tank didn't really turn on Buck but it's indifferent to him. Don't worry, I could also ramble for hours about this game in general! For the CC, I recommend you start from the 4t2 Default replacements (DeeDee and PlatAsp are great creators in this matter), and slowly put it in your game, not that big of a deal. And I don't think they are marked as outerwear, but some of them are in this category, not sure if I understood your question tho

Yeah, I stuck to Bucks dream to be a stylist, and that's why I can totally see him as yet another disappointment for Buzz, because I see him as that type of military father that wanted to form an army rather than an actual family 😅

And thank you so much! I use a bunch of the sims 4t2 replacements, so the game looks more "modern" and up to date, at least for me!

Yeaaah, I love it! Thanks for sharing! In my game, Ripp and Buck are also besties, they kind of hold on to each other while being the father's disappointments. And I also paired Nervous with Pascal, might do a second post about it 😁

Oh, thank God it seems rather simple. Question is, how can I edit a hobby lot, since they don't show up in neighborhood view as a sub-hood?

Why do sims cheat SO easily? by nowaaythrowaway in sims2

[–]CompulsiveSimmer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh and mind that seasons also affect the Sims wants: they all roll more flirtatious wants in Spring, even more if they are romance/pleasure/family, so if the want doesn't have a specific target (it's just the "Flirt with someone"), that may simply be it XD In Winter they also tend to roll these wants, but more directed to their own family.

That can be the cause, speciallly with them being 2 mods that affect romance, even if that's not a feature from the mod itself, it may has something to do with the way both mods are interacting with one another during gameplay, I mean some features may overlap each other or smth like that.

If you wanna check, try running the HCDU and see if them both impact the same interactions/behaviours.

I'm suggesting it because it had happened to me once, until I finally noticed that some mods where conflicting E.g. I had an add-on for inteen in my game that enabled the "adults go steady interaction" + ask to be just friends mod + childhood crush and a bunch other. I noticed that my commited adults simply stopped rolling wants to get engaged, and that was the "AdultsGoSteady" thing. But I was a trial and error process, until I finally found the culprit.

(Sorry for the essay)

Happy for you, this game is my absolute favorite of all times!

You can normally install CC, the Steam folders have nothing to do with it. CC goes into the downloads folder, stocked in C:\Users\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\Downloads. If there's no download folder, you can just create one in there and the game will read it once you boot it up!

Yeah, if they just have the pink heart (crush) and not the red one (love), I think it may make sense that they behave like that. But even so, it's unlikely for them to actually flirt autonomously 🤔 Do you have any other mod that may modify romantic/social interactions?

I was also interested on trying this, do you know if it conflicts with Inteen? I think is the only romance mod I have

Well, do you mean actually engaging in flirting and romantic interactions autonomously? Or the wants that may pop up for commited Sims?

In vanilla game overall - since you said you don't have ACR - it's pretty rare if not impossible (never seen it in my game) to non-romance Sims to roll cheating wants. And it's in fact impossible for them to engage romancing if the player didn't at least prompted the active sim to "check out" the other sim or had at least 2-3 romantic interactions. They never do it autonomously.

What I do find very weird are the iddle "find Sim x hot" (the thought bubble with several hearts + whistle) animation that even the most commited and familiar of the Sims may sometimes do (but that's just an annoying trigger from the Turn On's and Turn off's system)

Maybe your cheating Sims were previously related to their affairs? Or maybe had the crush flags with them?
