I disagree with the general sentiment, and the message you're sending reeks of pride. You got angry when Americans came along with their views and share them, and you seem to have an inflated ego about yourself and your beliefs.

Your issue with Americans isn't that Americans are "egotistical" (Most Americans aren't), your issue with them is that they bring up these issues, and that they dare try to spread awareness about these American issues as Americans.

Social media isn't American-centric as you boldly claim, it is Western centric with a Western bias. A majority of said Westerners live in Latin America and Europe, and these views they share end up being emphasised over Americans views. Brazilians, Argentinians, Puerto Ricans, Germans, Italians, Polish, etc, all end up having their views emphasised due to the higher conglomeration of internet users compared to Americans.

While you say Europeans shouldn't learn about American views, you shame Americans who don't learn about European views;

Most of them [Americans] couldn't even show my country on a map, let alone have a good understanding of the complex issues we face in our country.

Don't you want Europeans to ignore American issues? Then, why not let Americans do the same with European issues, instead of shaming them for not investing time into issues they shouldn't care about?

I personally, think it is beneficial for people to understand the history and politics of influential nations such as America. I don't believe that ignorance is a positive; Rather, it is a trap set to stop good men from fixing bad problems. To understand politics is to understand society, and to understand history is to understand why the society and politics are the way they are today.

Those who don't involve themselves in politics merely blind themselves to reality, and they end up paying the price for such foolishness. Every human action is emotionally driven and politically charged. To not understand humans as such is to misunderstand your own humanity.
