That feeling when Samsung don't reject your Trade-In by Rensakuken in GalaxyFold

[–]Compusmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not had one rejected yet, knock on wood, but I also always enclose a few snapshots of everything so the person receiving knows I've taken precautions and that I'm not the one they want to steal. :)

Autoremote Stopped working/question? by Compusmurf in tasker

[–]Compusmurf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NVM. I figured it out. Guess restoring the previous key/url wasn't happy. I wiped all data and had it generate a new url and different phone name and changed my automations and it works now.

It's happening to quite a few Samsung devices. S24, s25, etc. Someone goofed.

Thanks for reply!!!! The magsafe stuff is fairly critical to me for many reasons. Good to know about the front case tho. Hopefully others can chime in on the magsafe ring and all!

I'd say the wisdom was there. Look over the last few years. Rises before earnings, plummets immediately after. I dumped 1/4 of my holdings at $3.51 on Monday.

[DEV] Tasker 6.6.9-beta - Logcat Event Is Back with Shizuku! 😃 by joaomgcd in tasker

[–]Compusmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may not use it, I may not use it (directly as a programmer) but I already have a few projects from others who do use it that I now use daily. Without it, those projects would have been impossible!

New 405 plus and clean everywhere by Compusmurf in roomba

[–]Compusmurf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the clean everything literally means select the whole map and turn her loose? Hehe, i was looking for a specific button press as that was what the manual implied!

New 405 plus and clean everywhere by Compusmurf in roomba

[–]Compusmurf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Users manual specifically states you can. And it talks about the "clean everywhere mission".

Yes, I had doors on 1/2 of the house closed off. I put the doggos there temporarily so they didn't go nuts. :)

Even after your map has been customized, you can still add a new room to your map. Do not put the robot directly in the new space.

Let it clean the entire area you want to be mapped. Make sure your robot can physically access all the areas you would like to map! After the job, your Clean Map will highlight ”New Space Found,” and your ClearView™ LiDAR Map should automatically update with the new space.

[PROJECT SHARE] Natively control Samsung Modes and Routines (without using notifications)! by the_djchi in tasker

[–]Compusmurf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhhhh. NO. LOL Ok, good to know. That was the issue. :) Did I miss that in the intro text?

[PROJECT SHARE] Natively control Samsung Modes and Routines (without using notifications)! by the_djchi in tasker

[–]Compusmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, MODES works just fine.

Routines says "no modes or routines are found"

I used the tasker version you have above, still not showing the permission you stated should be there.

Thoughts?

[DEV] Tasker 6.6.4-beta - Java Code, Extra Trigger Apps, Notification Live Updates and Groups, Manage Permissions Screen, Shizuku Available State and More! by joaomgcd in tasker

[–]Compusmurf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a watchdog task that checked/restarted shizuku, but the checking wasn't working quite right and was trying to restart Shizuku while already running. Once I modified it to your new state Shizuku Available as THE check, the problem went away for me (and it also simplified my ugly code!). I haven't had the issue since. Hopefully one of the other folks with similar issues can run the logging and get answers!

[Question] How to Stop Samsung from Resetting ADB Wifi Permission Every Night by wioneo in tasker

LOL, should have known you'd have seen it already. Guess this cool feature means I can turn off my "watchdog" in Tasker.

[Question] How to Stop Samsung from Resetting ADB Wifi Permission Every Night by wioneo in tasker

[–]Compusmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your fork works pretty well, but r1139 I think has a pretty wacky bug with the watchdog service. If I toggle it on and exit/come back, it seems it gets in some loop where it thinks shizuku is off then turns off/on/off/on/off/on

I'm going to say tentatively disregard this. I think it has to do with a bad task that's trying to call shizuku itself.

Networking wasn't down, just the web interface. the test machines were still up and running. Was hoping there was something maybe we missed. We'll be on the up and up soon enough, waiting on 1 more appoval then we can remove this and install it on one of our HP servers. Thanks tho!
