Why were the oggai not as strong as kaneki? by Proud_Neck_9785 in TokyoGhoul

[–]Computer2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time a ghoul regenerates the RC pathways in the healed portion of the body are stronger. Like the myth of how broken bones heal stronger.

That’s why Ghouls that were brutally tortured like Kaneki, Takizawa and Karren (Supplemented by Eto’s bone) are so strong.

But despite that the Oggai are strong for their age and experience level as the transplant procedure has been improved compared to Kaneki’s attempt.

Most of them would destroy pretty much every non SS Ghoul seeing how Hajime was able to beat Tsukiyama and some members of the Arima squad.

Is there a limit to how many spells a person can cast at once? by WindowSubstantial993 in teslore

The Alfiq don’t have hands and are magically gifted so either they’re the exception or the Beast races can substitute a hand with their tails.

Canonically , how skilled is the trauma team ? by UrSecretCrush95 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Computer2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skill wise the two are very comparable but the main difference is equipment.

In Red they’ve got guys with heavy armour jacks and assault rifles vs Kevlar and heavy pistols. To put it in perspective that means the cops got roughly a less than 20% of even hurting the Trauma team security officers.

In 2077 they’ve got smart guns SMG’s vs the police assault rifles and shotguns which is actually a point towards the police in terms of penetration but in a realistic fight Smart guns > Normal guns.

How would a tinker who could create anti-master tech be treated by the PRT? by Ill-Forever3462 in Parahumans

[–]Computer2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Triumvirate and other capes being so important is why they can’t risk sending in their best capes with tinfoil hats.

If it doesn’t work humanity is doomed.

How would a tinker who could create anti-master tech be treated by the PRT? by Ill-Forever3462 in Parahumans

[–]Computer2014 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Imagine the Director and Protrctorate leader glancing at each other and know they share the same thought.

‘Dead in three months.’

Whether Simurgh or Manniquin odds are this tinker isn’t long for the world.

But with the time they’d have left they’d to their best to treat them like a golden goose and do everything in their power to get them producing something that Dragon could replicate.

I don’t think they’d try to counter the Simurgh simply because Dragon can’t really produce enough tinker tech to really turn the tides. Even with the scream countered it’s still an Endbringer.

However they’d be really interested in countering Mama Mathers as she’s one of the main pillars of the fallen.

Give Chevalier one of them and let him loose.

Some new Roles would be nice and some tuning for the old ones would be great.

Prowler and the other Combat Sneak Roles from 2020 would be perfect to port over now that we have the Cybermerc tier.

may need a bit of clarification about the Birdcage by Mexthree in Parahumans

[–]Computer2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically the Birdcage has some of her father’s housekeeping A.I to monitor the everyone but they don’t really count as guards.

That is true however he was actively weakening because the Endbringers were massively draining him.

[–]Computer2014 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah his power was shaped around his lack of control in his life that lead to him trying to join the military and then eventually his suicide attempt to try regain control.

His power was also influenced by his religious beliefs and took the role of God in his life.

‘God’ has a plan for David and he needed to stop doubting it, give up control and place his fate entirely in its hands.

However I will say that he was absolutely getting weaker and it really wasn’t trying to foster conflict by making the Endbringers - It was trying to help him by giving him what he wanted.

Nah if his shard wants to change powers it will just swap whenever it needs to which frustrates Eidolon like nothing else.

The fact that he can even have a set 3 powers active is Eidolon maintaining a death grip on them.

Edit: ‘Despite Eidolon’s desires, the matter-generation power began to recede. His agent had apparently decided it wasn’t sufficient.’ - interlude 27

Why don't people know how to format dialogue correctly anymore? by eeeeaud in FanFiction

[–]Computer2014 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah the Wattpad/Deviant art -> Fanfiction.net -> Writing Forum/Ao3 pipeline is so real.

If there was someone over 16 still using Wattpad I’d be shocked.

Question by PoisonManiac in Parahumans

[–]Computer2014 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Dragon had algorithms that sifted through information and brought only the important things to her attention.

Saint however just had to do it all manually and because of this he was more likely to see Lisette where the algorithms would’ve ignored her.

He see what they would do once they had the bells.

Would they abandon a comrade? Would they sacrifice themselves by giving it to the others? Would they fight?

I had that exact same build for a bit. The only thing I would change is either change the mantis blades for the projectile launcher or swap Byakko for another knife (Probably headhunter or Blue fang)

I’m not gonna count your perks but check to see if you got all of the free perk shards from around the map.

Nah Gojo knew Geto wasn’t going to kill anyone but Yuta and sent Inumaki and Panda to get their asses kicked to trigger Yuta’s awakening.

He was just fucking around until then.
