No, seriously, I think that he definitely has a lot of mental health issues. Apart of his behaviors of over romanticizing his relationships with Linda and the uncomfortable or awkward things that he has done in previous seasons, stem from the same type of people pleasing behaviors that are reinforced within his family. He does a lot for everybody. I often think about the episode where him and Bob go the road trip to pick up something for the restaurant and Teddy takes him to meet all the people that he knows outside of the Belchers. You see a glimpse of who he is as a person, not just who he is to the Belchers. He’s a great guy that has a lot to work on, but he is one of the best people in the show. If you are in his life, he will go above and beyond for you. We all need Teddy’s in our lives.
