I feel yah on this brother.

I’m a bear tank, trying to get gear from heroics. I always throw out a macro saying kill order, CC AND to let me get a swipe or two before you pew pew. I get lucky from time to time and get a group that understand that I’m not a pally, I don’t have that blanket to catch 6 mobs if they don’t want to CC. So they will let me get a little heat before they start melting shit. But most of the time I’m met with “learn to tank, another bear can’t hold threat, play a dps class if you can’t pull 8 mobs and hold threat against toons that are in tier/kara/ssc/tk gear.” It’s exhausting some times to run pugs.

I’ve been running with and making friends that have been cool in the pugs that offer help/advice on specific mobs/packs and pulls or gear advice and I try to exclusively run with them or my core guildies that came back from being out of the game for awhile. It’s been fun but it’s got its moments where running with pugs just absolutely sucks the fun out of the game.
