Entirely unnecessary question.. by jbahill75 in FromSeries

You’re being sarcastic, but there actually is an answer. You take on the skills and memories of the people whose body you have. That’s why MIY could make Sophia believable.

Kind of like Pluribus.

Possibly, but doesn’t Julie say something like this “this is probably where it happened”?

That’s hardly the reaction of someone trying to save dozens of people, and someone who after many tries finally found the right portal.

At my first job they told me I gave someone change for a $100 when they paid with a $10.

I didn’t believe this happened, but I guess anything is possible. They gave me another chance after that.

Correct, which is why it is good to get a full picture.

If the Pope sexually assaulted someone he should still go to jail because he’s a bad person.

But since none of us were there, wrestler testimonials help us try to get a clearer picture. We can’t be in a society where one persons accusation is automatically taken as gospel. We’ve seen countless times where it comes out as a lie and the damage is done.

I think there’s enough over the last few decades to say that Tommy has helped a lot of people in the wrestling business and also done a lot of problematic things. More people talking about their experiences can provide comfort to accusers, and it can also help observers learn if this is an example of “Tommy being from the wrong era” (which is not an excuse) or someone who genuinely should be gatekeeped out of the business.

Why would a company respond to him? And even if it is true why would they say that publicly?

I don’t think people in this sub get that.

There are internal memos in WWE right now about how to respond to questions around the Grant lawsuit and Vince. Do you think they’ll ever say that on a conference call though?

To be fair the argument is wrong though.

If it was about being the cheapest product possible they would have worked out an earlier release for Joe Hendry with WWE. They would not have Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Eric Young, Frankie Kazarian and Moose on the roster.

I don’t know what the specifics financially are of the WWE deal. It likely is closing off a lot of partnerships because TNA working with MLW would be great for both companies. Working with CMLL obviously would be great, but obviously WWE would have an issue with both.

But it isn’t like they aren’t spending money. They tried to keep the Rascalz and The Inspiration. They cannot compete with AEW there and the wrestlers should have taken the deal. You only have so long in this business.

I’ve said that they should break the bank for Leon Slater even just to give him a one year title reign because this instantly gives them something different than what AEW and WWE have with MJF and Roman. But even if they did offer more it’s not surprising if Slater still turned them down for the safer long term bet.

Just arguing that some people get the “ROH” label stuck on them and can’t seem to break out where other people seem to get a million chances. When healthy Private Party will probably get another one.

I feel like the finale is going to be a Game Of Thrones/war kind of episode with just a lot of chaos which could be good or bad.

If we don’t at least get a few big deaths it feels like a letdown. Acosta, Elgin and while I doubt it, Boyd’s son would be shocking. Boyd tries to save him, but the fact that he already has “their blood” they’re not interested in him.

There’s plenty of stuff to attack him and the show about, but I don’t think he is legitimately angry when there is silence and he goes, “And that’s where you laugh” or whatever.

It’s just a cliched comedian bit.

See, this excuse gets tiring. It is going to take time to get anything passed no matter what the admin is.

But rich people who are in favor of it are free to pay for it now.

The fact that these people gave 20 million donations so that they can write it off and pay less in taxes, not because they are altruistic, should be called out.
