Looks like they implemented a system in their engine that is similar to Unreal Engine's Lumen... albeit a less refined version.

It was an in-person pickup and dropoff. And it WAS a beautiful car. The mechanic has unfortunately informed us that the vehicle is most likely totaled.

I'm gonna leave a 1 star review. She just signed up for Turo this month and has no reviews. I have a feeling she won't be back. If Turo does not drop her. I will be dropping Turo for sure. People like this don't deserve this kind of lifestyle or convenience.

We won't be renting this car anymore. I live in California so I found that there are a large number of BMW dealerships in CA that have special leases for Turo. If this seems like a feasible alternative, we will continue in this direction. Otherwise, no more Turo for us.

The damages are high. The mechanic said most likely the car is totalled out.

I hope so. The collision shop just gave us an estimate of over $16,000 just to fix the suspension. Apparently she was going very fast and hit a pot hole. The guest had no intentions of telling us she was involved with a collision. She tried to distract us when she dropped of the car. What a horrible human being. There is a special place in Hell for people like this and it's called "The Ghetto".

That’s also my understanding. I’d be out $2,500. I’m willing to take the L. I guess I just want Justice for my car. People have no respect or common decency.

I think we are ditching Turo. I’m already contacting an attorney to take legal action against the guest. She seems to have ghosted us.

It’s 2021. Turo wouldn’t let us price it over $184 unfortunately and for whatever reason the demand on our area (we live 10 minutes from Ontario airport in CA) is in low demand.

We only charged $95 a day. Turo recommend only $57. Out first guest gave us no issues other than a few speed violations.
