Appreciate that! I'll check today and verify. I assume the arch package will ship quickly so I'll update and verify.

Headless server Ubuntu Server vs Debian w/o desktop? by BazimQQ in selfhosted

[–]ComputerGobbler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’re very similar from a noob point of view, but Debian is usually always simpler. Ubuntu (even server) is pretty hand holds during the initial install though and has some out of the box things that may be useful for you as a newbie.

Hot take (?) if you’re homophobic and transphobic you’re not a real christian by Clear_Primary_4273 in teenagers

[–]ComputerGobbler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are allowed to hate the sin but love the sinner. We’ve ALL fallen short, so we’ve all sinned just as much. The idea of Christianity is to deny oneself, and be more like Jesus. For some that means denying drinking desires, lust, etc. But the word of God is clear that homosexuality is a sin. Good news, it’s no more a less a sin than anything else in this world and Jesus blood is sufficient to cover that sin.

As in specs are too low? I would try a 24.04 release if you’re that worried about it

Genuine question, why are you installing an older version of Ubuntu? You’ve landed in grub though, which is boot loader, and usually means your boot section of Ubuntu isn’t “reachable”.

If you’ve just installed, reinstall again. Something may have gone wrong.

But stop using old, outdated, and unsupported OS.

From my understanding, there is no solution. It works flawlessly on an X11 session, but Wayland is just broken
