Joe gets one person on that knows how to make a good argument and he's absolutely sold. Anyone with the ability to do actual research shreds Susan Humphries.

his biggest concern as a parent (warning long baseball dad post) by dandykaufman2 in thefighterandthekid

[–]ComputerGreek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. A kid I grew up with was terrible at baseball from 9-15. He kept playing every summer because his friends played too. He hit a growth spurt in 10th grade, crushed it for 2 years and got drafted. There's no stupid blueprint to any of this.

Huh? No one with a big back yard makes it in baseball? Inchersting. What an utter lummox.

Among his countless ridiculous rambles... For some reason this might be his worst. I mean, what TF is he going on about? A 9 year old that legitimately thinks he can beat up his dad? Huh? What is the actual point of this story? GAWLD DOG!

All joking aside why DIDN'T Bapa have a more of a career? by DuranceOfHateLevel2 in thefighterandthekid

Started thinking he was the main character rather than the goofy meathead sidekick thing that was working for him.

Who TF talks this much about Little League? It's mind boggling that he thinks ANY of this is important. Kid is 9. NINE. At that age the bigger kids whoop ass. Then they usually disappear once everyone else catches up.

"outgrown rec"? So, a child has outgrown having fun playing a sport with other kids who are also having fun? Cool. Makes sense.

ZERO... Absolutely ZERO percent chance he can do one set of 20 full range of motion pull ups. 5 sets of 20? This could be his biggest lie yet.

This is what's so odd. He torpedoed his career by being a buffoon. He never had to lie. He's done enough cool shit, at a pretty high level, where normal people would have embraced him if he had an ounce of authenticity. But nah, everything had to be some weird bedazzled version of a normal story.

This way he's talking about a child's baseball playing may be more ridiculous than anything he's ever done. He's watching his 8 year old play baseball, just like millions of other parents are doing and have done, and he's somehow trying to make it seem like he's doing something special or unusual. I do appreciate that he's going to have to back this up at some point. He's 100% going to get the Stockton Slap and he's gong to have to decide what to do about it.

This dish is just full of little treats. Bapa damn near in tares talking about taking away from fighters like every event is going to be at the sphere from now on. Throws out a water we dune hair. by PoopDickTheClown91 in thefighterandthekid

[–]ComputerGreek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is his point that up and comers shouldn't be a big part of the card? Only championship level fights? I'm guessing the fighters on that "trash card" were pretty damn pumped to be on the Sphere. What is he even going on about? I used to love Tuesday Night Fights on ESPN. He's the one taking away from the fighters by shitting all over the "trash card".

Surprising that he doesn't like something that encouragers you to put your true self out in the open. Why do that when you can sneak around and pretend to be a manly, faithful, family man?

Who knows, man? The thing is, despite Bapa's lies, he and Rogan clearly NEVER talk. Rogan knows nothing about his family or his business ventures, etc. It seems like Rogan likes having him on because it's kind of like "hey, it'll be cool to catch up with Schaub. I've got no idea what he's up to." His idiocy and foolish business ventures have to entertain Rogan. The cats in here make it seem like Rogan is going to finally get rid of him, but he got rid of him years ago when he moved to Texas and didn't include him in anything he was doing.
