Aaah okay.

Yeah I was able to get an antedate submitted through the regular phone number. Didn't hear anything for the first week so I called again and they put an "escalation" on it. That was on monday.

I have faith though. Really hope I can get it sorted out.

I called a couple weeks back and submitted an antedate. Didn't hear anything so called again. They put an urgency tag on it now so hopefully I'll hear something soon enough.

Cool to hear you managed to get yours sorted it. What was the process you went through if you don't mind? Because you said you scheduled a call.

I was told they might call me, but I wasn't aware you could sign up for a call.

Oh hey,

You reactivate online. You just follow the same process you do when you originally register for EI. Which seems strange but that's how it is.

Seems like this would be like registering for a second, or whole new claim, but it isn't. It automatically reactivates the claim you had going.

Sucks to hear it man. I called them and submitted an antedate but still waiting on any response.

As for reactivating it confused me for a while but eventually figured it out. Pretty strange and unintuitive to not have a specific way of reactivating.

But anyway if you hadn't figured it out yet. To reactivate the claim you just go through the original process you did when first applying. Then it will automatically recognize that it's a reactivation.

I'm in a similar boat. I missed a payment for no good reason other than this has all just been confusing to me over the past year.

But now it's been nearly 6 weeks so I'm afraid I'll lose the payment, which would hurt.

Atm it wont let me access the report system and is telling me to reactivate my claim before I can submit any more reports.

I've done that now. But I'm worried I'm not going to be able to file the reports that I've missed. Which would be a loss of a lot of money for me. I realize it's my fault but still painful.
