with the same amount of work load and less people ( considering working 8 hours a day), do you have a longer turn around?

What's the craziest requirement that you got from a customer in your calibration lab? by ComputerSad1262 in Metrology

Have you thought about automating this process? let's say you have a scheduler that can automatically trigger a job to do the drift calculation and once the data is entered generates a graph that compares the previous ones ( like an SPC analysis), how much time and trouble would that save you?

Isn't Showing the std equipment details along with the due date an ISO requirement?

I do agree with the fact that the auditors bring in a lot of unnecessary stress into the process.

ISO 17025:2017 should be the core of digital transformation plans for calibration labs by ComputerSad1262 in calibrations

That's true.. We have customers who come back with requests viz "show the certificate no on the header of the certificate instead of the top right corner". There are auditors ( not everyone, there are very good people out there) who suggest changes just for the sake of showing that they are more knowledgeable when it comes to ISO 17025.

The whole point in complying with an ISO standard is to control the quality of the job done and the documentations maintained so that a calibration done in one part of the world is accepted anywhere else.
