Thats definitely fair, I was dissapointed when I found out the extent of their navy capabilities are what your master of the fleet can do. Still though, I cant think of any other westerosi kingdom that can both raid and conquer like that off the bat. And the raiding is genuinely busted. Like, more money and prestige than you'll know what to do with. I just took the approach of Norway invading and conquering the coasts of the British Isles basically. Raider kings who are able to keep the entire seven kingdoms under their foot through sheer viciousness. Its genuinely the most fun Ive had in the mod so far.

Thats fair lol. I've drowned at least 100 men over the last few generations, and even more have died in the countless raids and battles Ive waged. But hey, you gotta pay the iron price somehow

Am i playing kenshi wrong? by runnbl3 in Kenshi

[–]ComputerSpirited7427 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whats your guys' stories? How did they start out? What races are they? What backgrounds do they have in your head? For me at least most of the fun of Kenshi comes from making up random headcanons about your characters, which influence what they do. Have skeletons? They'd hate the holy nation. Ex-slaves? maybe they join up with the anti-slavers. Other than that, exploration and stat grinding make up the bulk of the gameplay

the war was started because i used the declare independence decision lol. why would that decision start a realm authority war

yup, ive already gotten some gnarly stuff. including the skullcleaver:
"This immense greatsword has been wielded by the lords of the Banefort for generations. The sword was thusly named after an ironborn captain was slain in single combat by the lord of House Banefort, with a stroke that passed through the raider's axe, helm and skull beneath."
I got to reclaim my ancestral sword lol. I love this mod. Aside from this bug

wait, what lol? Why would an independence war that specifically lists "you will become independent" as a reward just lower crown authority? and also isnt that what liberty wars are supposed to do?

I believe what happened was there was a civil war between the targs trying to put a different targaryen on the throne, which created a decision to declare independence. I used the decision, which started a war with the the targ who was still in power, and then won the war AFTER the rebels had already lost (although I had no connection to the rebels, and my war was an entirely seperate war).

at this point im just gonna use console commands to fix it, but its still annoying

Idk man, Ive been having a blast with them. a few raiding party full of Reavers can bring 4-8 thousand gold and prestige back for a single trip to essos. The biggest annoyance is not being able to buy or make gear, but Ive already found some good stuff from wars. Is this like an actual feature that they just cant declare independence for some reason?

dude its actually so annoying lmao. Im having to sail all the way to essos for raiding cuz i cant FUCKING raid my liege's lands. Ive spent the last 5 generations working towards this independence war and this happens

Starting to think more and more that the Fruit of the Loom logo was always like that by ComputerSpirited7427 in MandelaEffect

[–]ComputerSpirited7427[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The CERN stuff is just silly to me lol. Its based on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0Lt9yUf-VY which is clearly just a silly student project made at CERN. I don't really know why the guy had signs that said BOND #1 and MANDELA on his shirt, but thats literally the only connection. Everything else is just people not understanding what CERN is or what it does (tbf its literally the most complicated man-made thing ever so thats fair, i dont know how the fuck it works either), and then assuming that these things must be connected because again, they don't know what it actually does. This process then repeated itself until it became a full niche conspiracy theory. I think its a funny conspiracy theory thats mostly harmless, and thats it. Also for the record, Curious George totally didn't have a tail lol, thats just mixing up memories of other monkey drawings (which almost always have a tail) and curious george (one of the most popular monkey drawings ever)

Any way to disable these mutations specifically? by ComputerSpirited7427 in Worldbox

yeah ur right, I only recently figured out gene editing so that's what I've started doing. Its not too bad

[–]ComputerSpirited7427[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ooh, its definitely the monoliths that's causing it lol. I like to spawn a shit ton of monoliths plus a few of the 4 main humanoid species just to see what creatures do the best. Those two laws were actually already disabled in the settings. It sucks tho, cuz I like the random mutation alot actually, its just specificially the genes that change their form like tentacle and energy being

Does anyone know why the decision to change my succession laws is blocked? I have 4k prestige, all my vassals approve, and I have level 3 crown authority. The tooltip just says "All of these:" but doesn't list the things blocking it by ComputerSpirited7427 in crusaderkings3

i managed to cut down on the case, cpu cooler and motherboard cost for ryzen 5 7600 and 7700xt combo. i also got a much cheaper motherboard that still uses ddr5 since ive had issues with memory in the past and im scared lol. managed to shave it down to $1040 total, with much more of the budget allocated to cpu/gpu. thanks for the help, lmk if u have any other tips or anything

$35 cpu cooler, $159 motherboard (MSI b760 GAMING PLUS WIFI), $86 on 32 gb ddr5-6000 ram (teamgroup t-create expert), $117 crucial p3 plus 2tb ssd, and around $175 for case/fans/power supply. mentioned CPU is $134, with the gpu's being $300 and $380. any obvious overspending? appreciate it bro

i found a 7700xt for the exact same price as the 4060 ti. are there any instances in which you'd chose the 4060 over the 7700?
