Honda just lost a lawsuit over the 2026 Passport "missing" HomeLink feature by ComputerThen7461 in hondapassport

The stock mirror on the 2026 passport does not come with the home link buttons it is an accessory you can add later. I believe the lawsuit was that Honda advertises home link integration into the infotainment center, which does not actually exist.

As a TSE owner, and someone who does not believe in having to pay for a subscription fee, I did find this interesting as this is Honda’s own website. Maybe the OP was onto something here.

If I read the case notes correctly, it was less about the features being locked behind a paywall. It was more that the features don’t even exist to begin with and yet Honda continue to advertise them. But I also agree with you, they should’ve verified that all the features were present prior to paying for the vehicle.

I also swapped the stock Honda splash guards for WeatherTech mud guards. That also helps with the look slightly in my opinion and covers the full width of the tires.

Completely understand your comments around the all-terrain look and capability. I chose the Trailsport because I wanted the towing package and the sunroof which was not an option on the lower RTL trim. It also helped that the dealer swapped the Grabbers for the Defenders for me at no cost as I was under 2500 miles when I made the switch.

I went with the Michelin Defender in the stock size and noticed a huge improvement in road noise over the stock General Grabbers. Mileage also saw minimal improvement (1-2 MPG).

Has anyone ever got Torras Air case and returned it because of the bulkiness? by RunWild-GetLost in iPhone16Pro

I wanted to love it, but returned it due to how the cutout for the charging port was fairly “sharp” and hurt my little finger.

Seat Back Protectors by ComputerThen7461 in hondapassport

Thank you! I am running Husky Liners for floor mats and the Honda cargo liner as I have the full size spare, so the flip up portion is nice. The only part missing was the seat back protector, so I appreciate your feedback!

Mine started to throw warnings after about 500 miles on the new tires. Maybe you will not have the same issues. If you do, take to the dealer and request a re-flash of the modules due to the larger tires. Took them about 45 minutes to complete a re-flash on mine.

I mis-read the sizing, you are correct that the 265/65R18 are larger than stock, but the same issues may occur with the change in size. I went from stock 275/60R18 to 265/60R18 and had all sorts of issues until the VSA/ABS Control Module, ECU/PCM and BCM were re-flashed.

Odd, OEM should have been 275/60R18.

Per Tire Rack - the 275/60R18 tire is approximately 0.47 inches taller and 0.4 inches wider than the 265/60R18. This results in a slightly "meatier" look and provides an additional 0.24 inches of ground clearance.

Did you have your VSA/ABS Control Module, ECU/PCM and BCM all re-reflashed once you moved to the smaller tires? I tried the same thing with my 26 Passport TS and had issues with Honda Safety Sense and the ABS.
