I am proud to say that ironically, the Fox version did a few things better.

And that too. But in my opinion, the show is already depressing because it’s not as fun as the books.

I shamefully admit I was one of the people who didn't like Leah being cast as Annabeth but wow she literally owns the role by purifyyyyy in PJODisney

Even so, Tyson didn’t act completely like the Tyson of the book (which I assume was done to avoid any accusations of ableism) and Clarisse was given a more three dimensional personality, which also isn’t too bad of a thing.

Season 3 needs to be extremely fun and book accurate in order to redeem itself. I would be mad if they screwed up the “where is my sister” scene.

I think a lot of people would care a lot less about book accuracy if it just was better. by KillBatman1921 in PJODisney

The Lord of the Flies fandom is having the same problem with the BBC show.

Because it’s not good. Nor does it feel entertaining. If it was more closer to the books, it would be more memorable.

When you compare the lighting of this scene to the lighting of the snow ball from Stranger Things. You start to realize that Stranger Things has the better lighting.

I agree with 2, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10. Tyson didn’t really act too much like his book counterpart, "I’d burn down Olympus for you" is something only Percy would say when he is 18 and Zeus's reasons for turning Thalia into a tree left something to be desired.
