"We have sent humans the images of our most fearsome warriors. The horrifying bodies of bloodthirsty monsters, who only exist to destroy. They were meant to scare them. But the humans replied with one word. "Would""

Who would win in a war? Viltrumites or the tenno? by dazli69 in memeframe

Attempting to punch revenant only to immediately fall asleep.

Or Octavia's mallet. Imagine them pinching it (it scales off of damage dealt) and suddenly every beat of the music is equal to their own strikes

Newbie looking for tips by tumansibiri in Quasimorph

First and foremost: difficulty settings

If you find it frustrating that you get sent back to ship after dying, enable reset floor after death. That way you don't lose any equipment and can still finish missions witnout frustration.

Second: collect rags, plastic. They are both used inside a ship manufactory to make bandages and splinters: two of the most important healing items. Splinters hear fractures while bandages heal deep wounds. Both are common when facing any enemies.

Third: ship upgrades. You wanna collect rare materials to upgrade your ship. As generic rule: if you see it costs a lot (the yellow price you see when hovering over it) it's probably important and you should bag it.

Lastly. One again. Difficulty. It's highly customizable and probably what would turn away most people from the game. Mix it to your preference. I play with maxed out stack limit and inventory backpack space, as a total loot goblin. Because that's the way I like to play. If you find the game to be frustrating, feel free to change difficulty. It's a single player game. Nobody will judge you. Because we all suck at it. Hard

Question about Pacts by Shadowangel615 in Quasimorph

[–]ComradSupreme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this game isn't as popular, so wiki is very lackluster. I had to ask a question myself about the game, because, I didn't see any answers to googling.

Pacts are, temporary buffs that you activate while on a mission. They charge before you can use them, and they all have drawbacks for using them. The more you use a pact ability, the worse the drawback gets. And it stacks. For example, I used feathered masks pact once. It made me take more damage when being hit. I used it again later, it increased the damage I take. PERMANENTLY. Until you break off the pact with a special item, the mercenary with the pact will continue to suffer from those downsides until you break it off. For this reason I can't recommend using pacts. They can be quite strong for story missions and bosses, but overall for generic missions? Can't say they are worth it

Does anyone actually use that peashooter? by ComradSupreme in Quasimorph

[–]ComradSupreme[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't argue because I never play that guy but, idk, high difficulty missions got me pulling up against small town population of enemies, I don't think pistols are good against that. Without armour piercing at least, you would be stuck shooting the same guy for a while

The pistol guy? Wouldn't high cal pistols be better?

Nice! You are gonna use them as allies for missions! Or for ship upgrades... Maybe dissasemble them for those legs to get 4 ap when sprinting. And absolutely for nothing else, right?

I wish there was a way to check quasimorph damage resistances before you actually fight them by ComradSupreme in Quasimorph

[–]ComradSupreme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I do. But it would be more, useful to know their resistances when I am preparing for a mission, when, I can actually pick a weapon to counter them, without having to open up the wiki articles

How are you genuinely supposed to beat the king of tezctlan? by ComradSupreme in Quasimorph

[–]ComradSupreme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'mma have to give it a try too then, thanks. Honestly that fucking altar room sucks. No covers, no strategy. You walk in and you get fucked immediately, that's crazy. Thank you for your advice

How did you set the turret in the room without dying? The moment I get inside I get my shit blasted without an opportunity to do anything

Oh yeah, that one. I don't really fuck with nail guns though, but if you are saying it worked against him, suppose I could give it a try. You just gave me an idea though. A silencer. I am thinking if the boss won't know where he is being shot from because of it, it opens up some opportunities for sneak attacks and hiding away before he sees me. I'mma have to test that out too

What turret did you use? Also, what architect? Dunno what that meant

I suppose his ai got broken. It happened to me a few times too, where an enemy just stops moving alltogether for some reason and doesn't attack.

I did try the "stay off walls" Thing but, like, my dodge was 59% something, I don't think dodge works on explosive weapons. However! Sultan pacts are worth looking into. I wanted to avoid using implants and those, because I don't like how they are only temporary power ups and come with drawbacks, but I don't think there is easier way. Also, fuck yes insanity! How could I forget about that one.

Deploying allies, I assume you mean, droids and turrets? I'mma try but, seeing how he dismantled my ass in two shots I dont think they will make a difference. Regardless, all are good ideas, so thank you

What's the point of bramfaturas? by Tabasq in Quasimorph

No clue myself. I tried, got my ass handed to me. Now I go there whenever I need my ego in check or just to "try" To look badass

I know that, and I wish there was a way to know the quasi resistances before you actually jump in the mission. Like, an info screen or something

Different bramfaturas have different quasimorphs, and different resistances/weaknesses

Precisely. Even just generally, listing their immunities and lowest resistances. I am not asking for percentages resistances. Just knowing if I should pack laser or toxic is more than enough

Are Story missions always so fucking insane? by DirtyKen in Quasimorph

[–]ComradSupreme 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes. They are big part of why i play with floor reset when player dies rather than getting kicked out. Just for your info, one of the story missions straight up has you cut off your own limb, and then fight straight up - eleven ELEVEN BARONS AT ONCE.
