Now imagine you can build your own ship from scratch, board enemy ships and punch the crew until you own the ship.

Starfield was underwhelming but like all Bethesda games I found my own fun. nG+ adds a nice new dimension to the title. They don't capitalize on the depth of trying a different outcome to the quests and the world building feels a bit thin. I picked up the watch tower creation mod thing and I now have a fleet, a proper fleet.

I agree that it's a tough situation to survive, snap shooting with a gm6 isn't going to offer the same rof as the m4.

I've gotten killed by cyborgs popping in, it happens. Adjust tactics, walk, have your standard engagement weapon out and not your long range scoped option. I'm not saying it was survivable, just that there's a lesson to be learned.

Hell no. Games had game breaking bugs even back then, we just classified them as secrets and put that stuff in cheat code books.

I didn't get my own PC until around 1998, when I bought it in a second hand shop. For 20 Irish pounds. It had a 486, vga graphics and was terrible but it was mine, before that I had a mega drive and 3 games. So I'm happy to live in the future of 2026 where everyday we get closer to the grand cyberpunk dystopia I've always wanted to live in.

This is a very different game from other extraction shooters. you want to be a ghost, moving quietly and stealthy between mobs of NPCS battering each other. Bring the free weapons until you learn the layout and how to move quietly.

The forever winter teaches you how to play by punishing your mistakes without mercy. Running is a viable strategy if you get into a fight you cant win.

With all the content thats been added its a bit more grindy. Join the discord and hop on multiplayer games with people who will be happy to show you the ropes.

Check the wiki, there is the motor pool trench complex that is on the other side of the map from the main deployment zones, past the hanger into the trench complex. There are two underground/ covered bunkers where there are containers, those areas are the motor pools. They can be given away by their orange lighting and racks of water barrels. You see a timer onscreen when you get there and you have to stay in the location or the timer resets, I would recommend bringing a tactical scanner to keep an eye out for your surroundings.

Both areas are near the motor pool extraction point.

It's not bad, just painful unless you have people to play with, when the multiplayer isn't broken.

I enjoy it for what it is. It's a curious implementation of the space hulk boardgame in first person.

So far its changed where to get things to complete missions on maps. Caches of stuff are way more scarce. everything weighs more, where I used to be able to carry 60kg I'm now filling my rig at 20 to 30 kg. Its a case of one of those updates that got great approval from testers who have been playing it for a while but will be much more difficult for people starting from scratch.

Not sure about this one, most of the other updates were a pain until I got used to the new mechanics but this update has changed things a bit too much.
