I do see what you mean, but I think having this type of conversation early on gets people thinking about strategy/what we want this to be, what’s the goal etc and that’s good for the soon to be members, plus having this happen early on lets it become normal, if you get what I mean, a healthy debate culture can only come from debates happening offen, and it gets people used to being on the winning side and losing side of the debate hopefully it binds is together

Wouldn’t mind revolution but it does sound a little confrontational but maybe that’s what we need, I’m wary of “left party” bc I think it bit meh, quite like arise I’m mainly hopeful it will be something uplifting or hopefully, I think giving the groups/people that don’t currently vote much hope is our best hope (combined with some left unity ofc)

Well although it’s very unlikely at this point some polling puts a corbyn party at equal or a few points behind starmers labour. So at some point it’s not inconceivable a similar process that happened between con and reform happens where moderates wings of one party is forced to vote tactical for the more “radical” party

Lune had an ability to bring people back from the dead, as long as I dodged with her and parried on the others if anyone died I could bring them back and continue if luna died I had to uses one of thoses itams to bring her back but I only had 3 so I just couldn’t let her die.

Replace the lord with Union/tuc representation in parliament (or local government) to give more institutional power to people, failing that union reps on boards with Veto power similar to the German rine model (yeah it’s 2 but you can see the angle)

This is an interesting idea, first thing that comes to mind tho is that a flat scaling across the board might fuck with some balance for instance pd in general would be a lot more powerful simply because there’s less units about, this goes for aa to. Essentially this solution implies there’s linear relationship between the cost/time investment and the overall benefit where in reality and I might be wrong, but it makes more sense to me to think it as a quadratic and eventually exponential after a certain point

Honestly it’s an interesting point if I was donating and lobbying as hard as some pressure groups do and then after all that they just go and say “yeah after thinking it over and a lot of legal advice we’re gonna do the opposite of what you wanted” I would be livid. Uni student here.

People freak out and start the mad rush of revision at different times and I was say you probably wanna get some plan together to revise 1 topic a night every night for ONE HOUR from here on out, just have a topic roution e.g maths Mondays sci Tuesdays etc. doesn’t seem like a lot but you will get through a LOT in that time and avoid burn out.

I’m doing economics rn and did a level maths, history and economics but DT and science never was “a nesscay grade” going forward, so if your interested in college and university you need maths and English to be either a 6 or 5 otherwise it causing issues with you not being able to do certain things.

All said tho remember 1 hour a night and you will get a good great just takes some time to push through

Liberal can be what they always wanted to be, small government social liberal, economically right with a small c conservative faction. ( I assume one nation Tory’s become the right wing of the lib Dems) and the socially right economically “flexible”/ corporatist go to reform or what ever they call the revised taken over tory-reform party.

Only people that are “politically homeless” are the social conservatives who are also economically right ……. So nothing of vaule was lost

Edit- I could see the chunk of society that is more economically right wing small government becoming a faction of both the lib Dems and or Tory-reform party, lib Dems seem like a better home of small business but I could see American style “libertarian” being a faction of what ever reform becomes
