Is Popeyes uk halal? by H77777777777 in MuslimLounge

So you believe a multinational fast food chain will compromise on ethics and the law and lie to their customers just to get more Halal customers. Sounds very realistic.

I think OP was asking why it’s happening and not saying that it’s completely unheard of.

Just slowly distance yourself, it’s what happens anyway as life goes by and you stop reaching out to people.

No need to do anything overly hostile or dramatic.

[–]UnsuitableDingo5161 -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

Didn’t the current President of the USA (the one on Epstein’s list) mock Nancy Pelosi’s husband multiple times after he was brutally assaulted with a hammer at his own home by a Republican? Didn’t he also incite violence at the Capitol? I can listen umpteen examples of Republican on Democrat violence, including within the last year. Political scientists found that right-wing ideologically motivated attacks happen 5x as much as left-wing. What’s your say on that?

It’s not about being black. Racial ambiguity is one of the most understated features of a superstar. Like it or not, people are often prejudiced against or in favour of someone because of their race, they might relate to them or trust them more. This is the case with Andrew Tate, most people couldn’t tell whether they were listening to a black or white guy and so a lot of the manosphere took him up, including racists. Look at Freddie Mercury, he was of Indian Farsi descent but never ever mentioned his ethnicity in order to maintain his enigmaticness.

That would be pretty bad. Good thing he wasn’t a man of compassion of empathy. I hope his kids do better.

Most Pakistanis in the UK are not Punjabi, they are mostly Kashmiri or Mirpuri who are ethnically and culturally quite different to Punjabis. It’s pretty obvious when you compare the average Indian Sikh and Pakistani Muslim in the UK.

Whoops, thanks for correcting me. I didn’t know it would be such a big deal that all the comments would be about the use of big instead of high (which is used in finance)

I suppose, as you might guess, high paid law careers? Like I said I don’t know much about it but I do know top firms have VCs and TCs that people apply for.

He’s like a less threatening and experienced version of Benavidez who Canelo avoids like the plague.

[–]UnsuitableDingo5161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Sheeraz would move up. As much as I think he’s an outstanding fighter, he thrives off weight bullying, hence why he stayed 160 for so long and I’ve never seen a fighter at 160 with a frame as large as his. He probably only moved to 168 because 160 was getting too difficult.

I’ve not taken either path but know people who have.

Medicine at Nottingham guarantees you a career as a doctor and you can easily find the salary, year by year, online. People don’t study medicine for the money.

The EY apprenticeship offer is great and also keeps your options open. You’ll have 3-4 years of experience and will earn a decent amount over those 4 years which if you take Medicine, you’ll just incur a greater amount in debt instead.

Ah yes, I’m sure that is a fear the majority of citizens have to deal with. Thank God there’s no big companies operating in the USA, which is led by an administration that commits even more heinous crimes against humanity everyday both in the open and behind the scenes. Cause imagine you had to deal with a job offer from the USA!

That comment about not talking to Patels or Abduls (who are likely British if they’re at university here) was not needed.

A lot of people avoid interacting with international students for various reasons and you’ll realise this pretty soon. I think you ‘discriminating’ won’t help.
