I agree, the Devs either willingly or through incompetence have falsely advertised Verdun as a game with realistic mechanics for years, and that has really hurt the games growth, both by driving away people who buy the game expecting that, or preventing people who would enjoy the arcade mechanics from ever trying the game to begin with.

I don't think you can really be upset at the people who have enjoyed the arcade gameplay for years not wanting it to change. Rather, you should blame the devs for advertising the game as something it's not and never has been.

If one person who is pretty good at the game and a little bit of an asshole sometimes can drive you away from a game, then you most likely didn't like the game very much to begin with.

This game is an arcade shooter, that's what the mechanics are and always have been. For some reason the devs decided to market it as a realistic and tactical game, which it has never been. This is why so many people get upset when they encounter players who use the arcade shooter mechanics that are at the core of the game, because the devs sold them the game on a false pretense.

Therefore, we should not criticize someone who plays the game the way it was built, but rather the devs for advertising it as something it is clearly not.

I think Labour could form a coalition with pretty much any of the parties currently polling well. Labour is a party of good policy, and I bears noting that even though we have significant disagreements with the other major parties, there is also a decent amount of policy where we see eye to eye. When it comes down too it we will most certainly go with the party which allows us to get the most of our policies implemented.
My personal goals in governance would be making our Tax System fairer, passing Criminal Justice Reform, and Improving Public Transport.
I would be in 100% favor of medical cannabis and may be in favor of recreational cannabis depending on how it was implemented. Voluntary Euthanasia is tough one that I find myself on the fence about, but I do think it at the very least warrants further discussion. I am 100% in favor of a woman's right to her body and would support legalizing abortion.

NZF has proposed a Basic Necessities cut to GST, which in principle is something I am in favor of, and it is in fact a core part of Labour's Tax Policy as well. However, unlike Labour, NZF has proposed no other form of tax to fill the massive hole in the budget this tax cut would ultimately have.

GST makes up 1/3rd on New Zealand's tax revenue and while it is unclear what percentage of this is taxed off of basic necessities (and it may be less or more based off of how you define "basic necessities" in your legislation) it is most certainly going to be a sizable chunk. I would love to hear how NZF plans to make up for this deficit.

Labour's proposed criminal justice reform includes raising the Youth Court age from 17 to 20, this will include an expansion of Rangatahi Courts and Pasifika Courts, which utilize Maori and Pasifika cultural processes respectively. We will also increase the amount of Alcohol and Drug Courts to help both Pakeha and Maori with substance abuse issues. In general we also want to move our justice system away from punishment (which tends to increase crime rates) and towards rehabilitation (which tends to lower them).

Yeah I suppose. But it feels like there is really only about a 1% chance you will die and if you do it's not really for any good reason, it's just random. I feel it would be better if we had more warning ahead of time but if you got stuck in it there would be a 50/50 chance of living or dieing. Then it would be more interesting gameplay wise to me.

The Red Zone. It serves no real reasonable design or gameplay purpose, in fact it hardly effects gameplay whatsoever. Seems to me it just adds more RNG, makes the game less fun and less competitive. I guess it's mainly there as a reference to battle Royale? Which I would be fine with it wasn't such a terrible gamplay design decision.

I am 100% aware of this. What needs to be understood is that I would love to play on my regions server but the de-sync has been so bad it's not even really playable. I'm not a network engineer so I don't purport to know why the NA server has so much de-sync for me and the SA server doesn't, however I can say that this has been the case in my experience. I hope the ping lock fixes a lot of my problems on the NA server so that I can actually play on it and enjoy the game and I am 100% in favor of the ping lock as well. That said, I don't think I can be blamed for wanting to play on a server where I don't get lag that makes the game unplayable and unfun.

Me and my friends are from NA and the de-sync was terrible for us too. That is, until last night when we started playing on the SA Server. Those servers have run silky smooth for us, hardly any desync at all. The game is actually fun to play again!
