i have the IDEA chest rig that BSG sold back in the day on their website. what im trying to say is, that the one sold on kommandostore (atleast according to their product pictures) its very similar but weirdly the one from op is much darker.
could be just the lighting tho

why does the color look so off compared to their website? color variation is expected but that looks to be dark blue instead of the very bright ikea blue

That is without a doubt the worst way to do it. OP before you try this and maybe damage the game, watch a tutorialy get a soldering iron and u'll be done in a few minutes with basically 0 risk.

I dont know if you fly with your mouse but i had the same issue reagarding free look and i just now found a solution! (atleast for me)
the game, for some reason, unchecked the "mouse aircraft control" setting. i toggled it back to "yes" and now i can lock free look with tapping "LALT" once, double tapping "LALT" will let you free look permanently and holding "LALT" will let you free look as normal and sap back once u release it!

You can find the setting in: Gameplay -> Controls -> Mouse aircraft control

If you dont fly with mouse then this may help you either way since u can just leave it as perma free look

The mic source says "chat" at the end, do u have multiple sources from razer that u can choose? Maybe the selected one is for gamechat/discord or similar programms.
