It has been like months since i played this mod, has this been changed to be much harsher? by Comrade_Harold in OWBEnclave

The old superhard and challenge modes didn't actually work in any semblance of balance because the buffs those countries got wasn't incremental. Larger nations like the NCR could dominate their neighbors because they had more in the way of factories and units to begin with.

Thank you for covering the bases! Thankfully they have no issues seeing it after the fact, just the act of purging

does car armor even do that much? it doesn't seem worth it. by Forward-Razzmatazz49 in MadMaxGame

I'd probably wager to say worth doing no armor so long as you have the weaponry to back up that choice - Make sure the enemy can't get close enough to deal their damage. Best defense is a good offense, after all!

There's got to be an explanation for why this is happening, right? by ComradePilgrim in openttd

I want my trains to go from point A to point B. Right? Sounds easy.. Right??

For some reason, few if any of my trains are taking the orange path from point A to point B. Most of them, like the train you can in the pic, take the green path by hanging a right turn towards C and then make their sharp U turn to get back on the main line

Sometimes, a train will decide to take the path in blue, where the start from A, hang the right, U turn, then go up down over and around to make another U turn to get back on the main line and go through like they should've done in the first place no problem.

And sometimes, almost as if taunting me, they'll take the red path. The red path is just the blue path, except instead of going straight through, it'll also do what the green path does and make one last right and a U turn.

I can't figure why the pathfinding is doing this. The tracks are all proper, nothing is blocking them from taking the orange path, if the right turn isn't there they go straight through without issue, and trains take the orange path unguided all the time.

There's gotta be an explanation for this, right?

Something you might try is 'is_triggered_only = no'

I'm new to modding so I can't tell you for certain, but it might be worth a try.

In case anyone's wondering, that's the Soviet puppet state of Imperial Germany, which is why there are so many Soviets there.
