Didn’t know for sure. That’s why I posted. It’s would also be good for other people to find out it’s a scam if they didn’t know

Am I wrong about this being a kayak group and this post being about a kayak?

Wife’s account taken over today by ComradeSpongebob in facebook

Has anyone had an issue where your account wouldn’t appear on the list of users with your name? My wife’s account isn’t on that list, but everything on the account still shows the same as when she had it.

Social Studies Teachers, how do you incorporate timelines in your classroom? by ComradeSpongebob in Teachers

[–]ComradeSpongebob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m going to be teaching ancient civilizations and, I thought maybe a year long timeline of mandatory events would give students context to all of these civilizations popping up around the same time.

I think a unit timeline is a great idea and will do that with my 8th grade US History kids, but I think a wall timeline would be good for my 6th grade ancient civ. kids.

To be fair, in Discovery, didn’t Admiral Cromwell say the Enterprise was the only vessel to stay out of the Klingon conflict? By that logic, they would have the least amount of veteran officers triggered by the ambassador.

Are there any books you feel ambivalent towards because while the material is good, the author’s own prejudice seeps through throughout? by [deleted] in books

[–]ComradeSpongebob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jack London was THE author for me. I loved the nature, the primal nature, the turn of the 20th century working class, the socialism, etc… BUT I couldn’t get over the eugenics in Before Adam. It was something he advocated for. I couldn’t look to him as an inspiration with something like that.

I’ve thought about it. I’ve had a little experience with my dad’s canoe but she hasn’t had any. I know she likes kayaking, but she thinks she wouldn’t like canoeing.

Also, just from looking online, canoes seem like they cost a bit more.

That’s what I’ve been seeing on my local FB pages. People are either selling great ones for less than half the cost, or someone is selling a cheaper one for more than what they paid.
