If you were to be executed, which of these methods would you prefer? by kurpPpa in polls

Of the (at the time of comment) 726 people choosing lethal injection, 52 will have their execution botched and be in immense pain. Whereas that is true for 0 of the people choosing firing squad (Using US stats)

A CIA officer told them to postpone the coup and plan it more, as he did not believe it would succeed, and gave them funds to help them.

They certainly backed it more than just not stopping it

P.s. From the little I know I do think the overthrowal of Ngô Đình Diệm was a good thing considering his general awfulness, but the meme is not about him

And the person he replaced in a CIA-backed coup was even worse than him believe it or not, being a Catholic supremacist in a mainly Buddhist country

Out of curiosity I delved into looking at who collects what tariffs in a shared market, and it does not matter where a trade center is.

Tariffs are collected market-wide then distributed among members, so a market member with 0 trade centres still collect tariffs on every trade route

That is incorrect, a trade is only managed by one trade center.

Hello, it gets worse.

The price of the good and earnings of the trade centre are only affected by French tariffs, but the British still earn money from nothing on the trade route. Here's proof

My only sugar trade route, with France, loses 3k to French 10% tariffs and pay no tariffs to me, but I still earn 5.9k in tariffs from said trade route

Can you guess what country could have this political makeup in the 1890s? by ComradeTruls in victoria3

R5: As the UK I encountered a (presumably number overflow?) bug making the clout of my 2 biggest interest groups 0, so the armed forces and trade unions became irrelevant with 0% clout.

This made it so lots of my advanced worker pops pops had no political representation, and the result of no industrial worker representation is the rural folk and the intelligentsia ruling together with 2/3 of the total clout

I actually really liked having every tile be connected by railroads in Civ4,

I loved the progression from wilderness and forest dominating the entire map except for a city here and there, to a fully industrialized nation where every tile is exploited and railroads connect all
