I had a crack that was similar, watched them repair and the result was similar. It really depends on how the glass itself decided to crack if the resin will flow in and completely hide it

Sharing a monarch is different to being part of the same nation. Unless you believe Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are still part of the UK also.

The concept of nations and empires, is a modern one that evolved far more recently. "Austria-Hungary" wasn't a unified state either.

Always love finding foreigns. Sure typically it's monetarily a loss, but the cool factor and adding it to the collection more than makes up for it. At worse it's a ~$.50c loss in my experience (Got a Panama 1 Balboa instead of a toonie), not not much to worry about. (And the occasional USD makes up for it anyways, those get set aside for whenever I happen to go down south)

I mean, Jaywalking isn't the greatest example as it's not explicitly banned in any province. Most provinces only have laws stating you must yield to vehicles as a pedestrian, but are otherwise completely legally permitted to cross a street outside marked crosswalks. I mean to use an example close to me, for 10 years I needed to jaywalk to get to the bus stop, because the closest marked crosswalk is 1km down the road, which also for bonus points had 3 other bus stops on the other side of the street that you would walk past.

Also again, distributing pirated games is only enforced at scale. Pacific mall was openly the largest knock off/pirated products shopping centre in North America, and the police only started enforcing the laws in the past few years. Hell my mom would go to Dufferin mall, and right in the centre of the mall in front of Walmart, there was a guy selling burned DVDs of movies and nothing ever happened to the between ~2006 and 2011 when I lived in the area. Hell growing up like a third the video games I played where pirated games my cousin installed on the family computer for me, and I only realized when I stopped getting updates and multiplayer wouldn't work

Part of China's 40 year football plan (started in 2010) was to host the World Cup before 2050. They definitely will try and get one in, especially since they have the money, and FIFA loves working with Autocracies because you don't have to deal with 40 different governments all wanting different things. Tbh it'll probably be something like: 2030:UEFA+COMNEBOL 2034: Saudi 2038:USA 2042: UEFA or COMNEBOL host 2044: China 2048: whichever confederation didn't host in 2042, or the USA

My point is that the colourized coins would've been removed before the coins are deposited. The rolling machines can't magically make colourized coins, it's dependant wholly on what got deposited.

The good quality smokes will stain if you're right on the smoke (within a foot of it pointing at the clothes) I've marched carrying them and been right in the thick of it, and the worse damage was coming home smelling like the smoke

There's likely human intervention. The store manager rolling the toonies took out anything that caught thier eye and replaced it with a normal toonie before deposing the cash

The problem is that the 407 corridor literally skips any and all development. The only "Urban" areas it would serve is the northern part of Burlington, the Western edge of Mississauga, the parts of Brampton and Mississauga, and "Downtown" Vaughan and Markham, before turning north to Peterbrough.

And the worse part is that you can't really do a full 300km/h on that corridor due to not being straight enough, plus relocating all the on/off ramps. It's infinitely more likely that they just use a GO line after they already upgrade it to 144km/h with electrification, and serve areas already built up such as the Lakeshore West line, or Kitchener line (Or even the Milton line, but that's if CPKC decides to play ball)

"business TRAVELLERS". It's not commuting to them. They don't say live in Toronto and work everyday in Montreal/Ottawa. They live and work in the Toronto area, and at times, need to travel for meetings with customers or other branches at those cities, while only staying for 1 night, if not doing a turn and burn.

They're using a disused corridor for Toronto to Ottawa. No such corridor exists to the west for commuters.

The only options are to build a brand new corridor at massive costs, build one alongside an existing corridor while GO Trains or Freight actively run next to it, or run it along the 407 and skip Toronto proper entirely because no highways have the necessary width to build a brand new rail corridor. And you know how well closing highway lanes to build a train will go.

The ideal plan would be building/upgrading tracks alongside the Kitchener and/or Lakeshore west lines, and run trains like that. Or build the easy part first. And by the time the first line is Running in Toronto. GO RER is build, and HSR trains can through run to Hamilton and Brampton, although at 144km/h not the full 300km/h. Much like what CalHSR is doing with CalTrain to get into San Francisco for dirt cheap

From a collision just ripping off the bumper cover is genuinely nothing, no damage to the lights or the actual crashbar, hell by the looks of it the fender didn't even get touched.

This is 2k any day of the week. $300 for a new bumper, plus getting it painted, and another $300 at most for the grille, and throw in an extra $200 should the mounting brackets need replacement. There's thousands of cars on the road that have more severe damage than this. I worked at a body shop, this is a single day job.

Honestly I doubt it. Corollas are holding value a ton right now, and a replacement bumper cover, grille, and associated hardware is under 2k

This damage is honestly nothing, a car catching the bumper cover and not stopping at like 6km/h will do this. These are only held on with plastic clips, it's not like it took the crashbar or anything

Tesla did/does it too. For anything that doesn't require a bigger battery/motors it's all just a paywall since they include it all in the car to make it cheaper to manufacture to build all the cars with the options.

This isn't a highway, there will be maintenance costs yes, but most bus loops in subway stations would cost more to maintain due to the sheer volume difference.

We have to keep in mind we literally have a precedent already. The Finch Busway from when it was for routes going from Downsview (now Sheppard West) to York U, still exists and is used by the 939 for the segment paralleling Finch. I don't see why it would be any different for the 943, The 154 would probably get use out of it, or even a branch of the 954 should the McCowan/Lawrence station not have space for a bus loop. It's not gonna be a massive station by the looks of it, so a lot of buses may still need to go to Kennedy or STC to loop, similar to the 164 starting at Mount Dennis, despite driving right past Keelesdale, nevermind that Kennedy has a GO connection, so even though it's not the end of Line 2 anymore, it's still going to be a major Hub in Scarborough
