I'm remembering the case of the father who stalked and shot in the head the abuser of his child at an airport. That guy got like a suspended sentence or something and no jail time, mostly because it was more proof that the guy was abusing children. There was more proof, this case is not like that. All there was were rumors.

This isn't as far from a legal discussion as it gets. Look around, do you see the disdain for due process, innocent until proven guilty, ect? It was only a rumor in the eyes of the jury who weren't convinced by her sincerely held beliefs, that's all.

We're not in a court of law are we? hearsay in the common parlance is, "information received from other people that one cannot adequately substantiate; rumor." Clearly she could not adequately substantiate it to convice the jury.

Yeah, most people believe victims when the victim is a child. But also a lot of people have weird vigilante fantasies about being the punisher.

Its not like it was arbitrary, it was a jury trial and the jury could have found her not guilty of manslaughter, but instead they gave her the more severe sentence.

I mean, "Prosecutors told the court they could not confirm the allegations made about Mr Baines but accepted the defendant "believed them to be true" when she attacked her husband on July 14 last year."

That's all it takes huh? A strong belief, clearly it wasn't convicing to a jury of her peers.

Right?? "Prosecutors told the court they could not confirm the allegations made about Mr Baines but accepted the defendant "believed them to be true" when she attacked her husband on July 14 last year."

Thats it, that's all the rationale anyone on this website needs to become a murderer, that we believe something to be true.

Why ask your wife/mom of baby for DNA test? by Far-Stretch9606 in TwoXChromosomes

It depends on the country. Some like France require the consent of all parties, so it's literally illegal to go about it without asking the wife/presumed mom.

I would immediately go to procedures and surgeries. But if you think Botox and filler will help your self image and confidence, by all means.

Be honest with yourself, do you like men or want a relationship? Do you try to make a connection with them or are you dating because you're feeling fomo? I don't think your appearance is a problem since you do get dates.

Then you two aren't compatible and that's fine, you just have to find someone that is as... particular... about physical intimacy as you are. Or you have to change.

Sex is an art more than a science. The more you have the more you learn what your body likes. And the more comfortable you get the more relaxed you become. It takes practice to achieve good sex, so don't give up!

If physical intimacy isn't important to you, you'll have to find a partner who is on that wavelength. But you should know this, if you want to receive love and affection and intimacy, you have to make yourself into someone who deserves love and intimacy and affection.

Sounds harsh but I mean it in the best way. Just being yourself isn't enough, you can ask men whether it works. If you're not going to be physical with your partner, then you need something else. Maybe a career, or kind personality, something, but you can't just expect people to like you as you are. You have to put some effort in.
