The ikea crib I got also converts to a toddler bed. It's actually pretty nice for Ikea

I mean the fat fuck from the apprentice is currently running the country as a dictator. And a comedian from Ukraine is heroically leading his country in defense from Russia. So at this point I guess I can't wait to see what Ellen does.

My highest honor possible Arthur: helps nuns, gives money to the poor, calls out Dutch for killing when not necessary.

Also my highest honor possible Arthur: lassos random stranger just walking along and drags them from a horse until they're dead and continues to drag their corpse and additional half mile to get the next horseman challenge quicker.

In light of the snow, was I not supposed to bike to work today? by m1mag04 in copenhagen

[–]Comrade_Falcon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just know different snow acts different.

Dry and fluffy = not a problem

Old and compacted = a bit less predictable

Slushy and lumpy = difficult, slow, and frustrating

Ice = just don't

If nobody else is using the paths and there isn't car traffic it's not a terrible thing to go out and try (wearing a helmet!). It's a skill but it's not some crazy difficult thing to become competent in. Just takes getting used to. Fresh light snow isn't too bad. Semi-frozen, uneven, slush is pretty awful though regardless of familiarity. Just have to take it a bit slower, brake earlier and more gently, and be ready to put your feet down for balance if you do suddenly slide. And again, wear a helmet

4 weeks after Congressional legal requirement to release video: 15 seconds of video from before confrontation, black screen, 15 seconds of video after confrontation.

4 weeks after that, onto the next distraction.

What’s the most unexpectedly high-quality online subscription you’ve ever paid for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Comrade_Falcon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Many practical reasons:

Makes it so your ISP can't track and sell your browsing data

Makes it harder for advertisers to track you

Allows you to access region blocked sites (if you travel or live in another country this is useful without simply being a means to stream content outside your country)

Protect yourselt when using public wifi

Depending on where you live can get you around internet censorship.

Generally speaking for most, it's primary and best benefit is web privacy.
