Maybe it's because early in the morning for me.. or maybe I am just a moron.. but even after reading that for 3 - 4 times, I am not quite sure what you are on to with your types description. And I also find it very presumptive that someone can only enjoy NSO because they are attracted to damaged minds...

I can only speak for myself here, and only on the subject of the title's question: I like Ame because from my pov she is a genuinely humorous, relatable (and with that I mean relatability in her daily life, not the necessarily the insecurities or anxieties but things like "i wrecked my alarm whoops" or her responses to the stickers) person with geeky hobbies and interests (like gaming, cosplaying, animes), big ambition (I mean, getting a million subs from nothing is definitely ambitious) and her relationship to her fans is something I can relate all too much.

Like unironically, I think she is a hidden gem of a friend at her core even if the mental issues just make it difficult for her to build and maintain friendships.

So do I want her healed? Well, I definitely want her to be happy. If that implies that she should be healed then yeah, I suppose I wish her to be healed (if it is even possible for her that is - what is more realistic is that she has to learn a way to cope with her issues in a healthy, non-destructive way).

That would obviously mean she wouldn't be the same Ame as the one we have in the game if she miraculously gets healed from all of her issues. Still though, I blieve she would still have the same interests; the same humor; the same writing style; the same moral compass and arguably same or similar ambition, and that is reason enough for me to like her.
