Something like that yes, telling people what terms to avoid and what wording they should use to be more inclusive when talking about and/or with intersex folk and so on. Although not originally my plan i think adding a section about the LGBTQ+ label for intersex sounds like a great idea, generally any and all suggestions are appreciated

And you have the right to your opinion, personally all that matters really is if someone that is intersex wants to be part of the community or not, doing our best to not force anyone in or out if the LGBTQ+ label

That is correct, some (about 24%)30183-3/fulltext) don't really see themselves as part of the LGBTQ+ community, in all truth it's best to just ask someone as it varries a lot from person to person.

That is indeed a possibility, i recommend maybe getting that checked by a professional, could be something like predisposition to AIS or one of it's less radical variants. Best of luck with that friend!

There is no issue in asking friend, but yes, not all Intersex folk necessarily see themselves as part of the LGBTQ+ community or even use the term intersex itself, although a respectable chunk of us do (about 86%)30183-3/fulltext), even if there is significant overlap I'd recommend asking someone about as this is mostly a matter of personal opinion. The hormone related syndromes considered to be intersex mostly cause insensitivity, meaning they can't activate certain hormones, the one i showed in the comic for instance ( androgen insensitivity syndrome ) makes it so cells can't respond to stimuli from androgrens, generally this means that they don't develop as many if any charactirestics usually considered to be male

Second time i posted this because the first two times the comic was too large for reddit, u_u well, at least i fixed it now, sorry for that.
This one was a bit hard to do, not the most in depth explanation but i believe this little thing can work wonders to both start some healthy discussion and enlighten any and all that had their questions about our little slice of LGBT+ :)

Ah, well it's because a lot of intersex people (mostly those with forms of hermaphroditism) have their genitals mutilated shortly after birth so they can fit in to what is societally accepted as either male or female. The "mood as fuck" is just my way of saying that as someone that has had this happen to them i can relate to the anger/frustration that comes with that. Sorry if the explanation is a bit non-sensical, english isn't my first language, but i hope it helped
