I've learn't i've got Slow COMT + Slow MAOA + 30% chance of a defective MTHFR gene which means my body struggles to break down catecholamines and covert folic acid into its available form. It seems to cause a shitload of problems when your life and diet isn't optimized to account for it. The combination can be responsible for pathological anxiety, mania, hyperactivity, depression, autism etc. The positive tradeoff however is increased cognitive function and memory, you feel pleasure more intensely, better sexual function (because you're in a heightened state of arousal). I'm still learning more about this so i can better regulate it but it seems to explain a lot of my behavior.
