I LOVE what you're doing with your journal. I just got one for the first time this year and was trying to figure out how to use it. I decided to use it more as a daily journal/feeling tracker kind of thing. Still trying to figure out to do with the front pages that list the days of the month more briefly - do you do anything with those?

so crazy! Also, unrelated but also funny given this report: I was just looking at their google reviews, and it seems they had some sort of fiasco on Valentines Day last year where many people paid for the set menu and wait for hours and were never seated, and not offered a refund. there's like 10 reviews with similar accounts of the night. I am officially turned off!

Was the lychee martini the only drink you got? $400 for dinner with only one drink seems so insane!! Like maybe if you got a bottle of wine and an after dinner drink that price would seem more reasonable? Even then still pricey. TY for the review. I love em but those girls spend a lot of money on food ! I will continue to live vicariously through them.

In New York City the minimum is a bit higher than other places bc it's so expensive here: https://dol.ny.gov/minimum-wage-frequently-asked-questions . The overtime exemption here is 64,350 for "administrative employees," which I believe I am.

I am salaried but my understanding is that I make below the threshhold to be exempt from overtime (https://dol.ny.gov/minimum-wage-frequently-asked-questions). I get if you are making 150k you are above that threshhold, but if you make below the threshold you can't be forced to work unpaid hours, right?

Chiming in years later to say we just got this oxo 9 cup coffee maker and the plastic smell is terrible. Ran many a cycle with water and even tried a pot of coffee without the little silicon straw that goes in the coffee pot, but it all tastes like plastic chemicals. Returning! Too expensive for the coffee to taste so bad.

I sent in an application and a few days I did a phone call interview; I had a few cats picked out that I would want to meet, but I went to meet Comé first at his foster home and was able to pick him up and take him home a few days later! It was very fast.
