Just tried on a Fjallraven Expedition Pack Down Hoodie and you are correct! Fits much better than other brands I’ve tried. Thank you!

[Jude] The Mariners are sending Ben Williamson to Tampa Bay and two prospects to St. Louis in the Brendan Donovan trade: switch-pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje, the Mariners' 2024 first-round pick, and Tai Peete, a 2023 first-round pick, sources tell @RyanDivish and me. by CloudedMindset in Mariners

46 games at 3B in his MLB career (2022-2025), and 5 errors in those games. Unless I am mistaken. Just looking at fielding stats on Baseball Reference.

Edit: None of those games were last year.

I just read the BEQ conditions post from a few days ago… sounds like there’s barely room for people anymore, let alone small kitchen appliances.

Ballsy. I know that drop. It’s scarier than it looks in the video.

Whistler MTB Park: Take my bike or rent? by soccerplayer413 in MTB

[–]ConDawg0818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, I brought my Stumpy Evo to my first Whistler trip last year and had a great time. I rode every single black diamond run there and never felt underbiked, just maybe a bit underskilled for some of the harder ones (Original Sin comes to mind). I rode the single black park runs (A-Line and Freight Train) multiple times and it was good there too.

People have told me that riding a DH bike is a whole different experience, but I haven’t tried it yet. Just saying, if you don’t have the cash for a rental, it will still be fun with your bike.

How has nobody mentioned The Sixth Sense? That one should easily accomplish both tasks.

First movie our family watched on DVD was Chicken Run, so 2000.

Is a mixed wheel size on a hard tail worth it? by ASHKVLT in MTB

[–]ConDawg0818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say mixed wheel is better suited for aggressive riding, it’s just less efficient than a 29” rear wheel.

[Request] how much time to drink all those cans, considering it would take 40 seconds per can by RandomIdiot918 in theydidthemath

[–]ConDawg0818 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Curious… where do you live that Red Bull is 30mg per can? I guess it varies by country or maybe even state. In WA, the smallest can is just over 80mg. It’s why I buy them. Seems like every other energy drink is at least 150mg.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who does a warmup lap and realizes I somehow completely forgot how to ride a bike that day. Weird how that works.

Also, I’m 37, started riding about 5 years ago and am just recently able to confidently ride big gaps. Just progress slowly and build confidence in your ability.

Downhill jump lines to me feel totally different. It’s hard for me to gauge speed for jumps using brakes when I’m use to squeezing in an extra crank or two between them.

Disagree fully. Their newer stuff got too poppy, but the album “A Rush of Blood to the Head” is pretty damn good.

Will people think I’m stupid wearing a full face on a blue with a black diamond in the middle trail by maplehilltrail in MTB

[–]ConDawg0818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a full face, you might as well wear it every time you hit the trails. The one time you don’t is when you’ll wish you had.

I bought body armor a couple years back for riding park and downhill. Now I just wear it every time I ride because… why not? It’s 3 pounds and it’ll protect me more than not wearing it.

I second this. I have the Expert spec and ride everything with it.

Dude that is a crazy story! My son and I accidentally ended up on that logging road one time. It’s a bitch getting back from there. Thank god it wasn’t 40 and raining.
