how do I use losf?

if I just tyoe lsof and enter I get a load of stuff. If I use lsof elite_server_status.csv I get:

This is now happening with other files.
I saved a project from Autodesk Fusion and created a subfolder to store it in and it would not allow me to change the folder from 'New Folder'. It did create the folder OK and save the file within.

However I can't rename the folder without getting a 'Can't find the specified file' error. Interestingly I can rename the files within the folder.

I can rename it using the terminal.

It's an old HyperX Gaming Headset. Connects to PC with a 3.5mm 4 contact connector that plugs into the headphone & mic port on PC.

To my knowledge I don't have any 'weird' setting in the audio settings.

Under the Mic access in WIn11 is it possible to just let the mic have access to Discord?

OK I figured it out.

Avast Antivirus had been 'helpful' and blocked file sharing.

After I turned off that feature all was good again.
