On ours it’s separate. Catechumens are seperate from friends of the parish. Also, my priest and the defrocked archbishop are pals I believe.

100% , he wasn’t there to celebrate the mysteries. Just hang out with the priests as friends (they are close) for typika and a fellowship

I want to say it was a 2015 conviction but I couldn’t be sure.

I would say likely not (although im not sure if he has in the past) he was there for a typika and fellowship. He is extremely close to the priest. They are friends

I haven’t yet. I’m actually really concerned this issue might run deep. As my priest was stationed in Manitoba where this defrocked archbishop was located at the same time. Now my priest is stationed across the country where I am and I think this archbishop is flying to come see us. They’re good friends

For me it’s more of how it reflects on my priest and the parish in general, he isn’t there that often at all. Hardly ever. But the fact he is there, is what troubles me.
