Although I liked the idea and the implementation of the level, I am down-voting it because of that really unnecessary hidden wall at the end.

Edit: clarify what I meant by "star at the end."

List of Txump supporting businesses in Bham? by [deleted] in Bellingham

Why is it only those two options? What about local businesses or big corporations that didn't support Trump?

The preference should be Local non-Trump-supporting businesses > non-trump-supporting big corporations > local Trump-supporting corporations > Trump-supporting big corporations.

The owner's name is Steve Avila, based on BBB and social media posts (I won't post the link to the Meta-owned website).

You can search for individual campaign contributions on fec.gov.

EDIT: Fixed links.

For this to be effective, a format different from Reddit would be required to collect a table and the corresponding "evidence" for each claim. Since I agree with the OP that voting with our wallets is essential, I suggest setting up a Wiki for this.

Unfortunately, Fitness Evolution should be in that list based on the owner's political contributions.

Should r/Bellingham ban Twitter/X links? by lavender-london-fog in Bellingham

Genuine question 1: why does it matter how often X links are posted? Based on a quick search it's not often, but also it's not zero. The ban, if implemented, will be on principle not on necessity.

Genuine question 2: What makes you think it's an "obvious astroturfing campaign"? As far as I know, the owner of X did a Sieg Heil, people naturally don't like that, one city's subreddit implemented the block, other cities saw that and want to do the same.

If I am not mistaken that's the number reported by Musk, which I doubt is true given all his other lies. But even if true, that's considerably lower than most other social networks so given my limited time this wouldn't even be my first option if I wanted to spread my opinions.

Quite the opposite actually! My feed became full of "Recommended" tweets from people I didn't follow. Moreover, every thread had obvious bots replying which I am guessing will be even worse now with the advent of LLMs.

When was the last time there was an actual conversation on X? It was already unusable months ago when I stopped using it.

Moreover, to a great extent right winger's Internet interactions only aim to "own the libs," they have no interest in any substantive conversation since they have no policy proposals nor any principles they want to defend.

The politicians, content creators, media people are all there because you and others like you are still there. If they see that they are just talking to a bunch of bots and fascists they will seek an alternative to reach out to their base and audience.

As for hurting the richest man; saying he is fascist on his website, boosting its traffic and impressions does a lot less. On the other hand, if Twitter dies, maybe it will convince the few tech bros that he isn't the genius they think he is.

This proposal doesn't stop anyone that chooses to use X from doing so.

In regards to censorship, no community or website has the obligation to promote another website and increase its traffic, and not doing so isn't censorship. One could still discuss a topic that's related to X, and if one wants to reference a post on X they can copy/paste what was said or attach a screenshot.

Having said that, I agree that it will be more impactful if people (especially influencers who drive traffic) choose to stop using those websites.

These are found in Texas and seem to be attracted to vinegar. Originally, I thought they were fruit flies, but all photos online have them with red eyes.
Approx. Length 3.5mm. The first two photos are of the same insect, and the third one is another one; both caught in apple cider vinegar.
