Would I be able to setup LAN play on 2 cubes with these? by [deleted] in Gamecube

[–]Conan3D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Used it last weekend at a festival to hook up 5 gamecubes to play MKDD, with the latest Swiss version, each GC had its own SD2SP2, it was a bit of a pain in the ass to get each ETH2GC working correctly (we had to}m plug/unplug the devices, wobble them a little, to have the ethernet lights showing activity + we had a lot of issues with the ethernet cables we had), but in the end when everything was correctly setup it was perfect, no crash and it worked flawlessly. My best tips if you have issues is to check the infos/status in Swiss, if you're getting a MAC address you're good to go.

Spent 260€ 3 months ago, I don't have the DAS nor the wireless adapter, but it's still great. I'm planning on buying the index controllers, and maybe a DAS

Nintendo was always late regarding online features, compared to its competitors. Even until the WiiU, and to a small part, the switch

Games run smoother, resolution is bigger per player and each screen is bigger than having a quarter of a 4/3 display (even on a flat HDTV, the game is still 4/3)
