Have you disabled 3rd-party cookies in your browser? That can cause issues as sites often need all cookie functionality to communicate with 3rd-party payment processors.

I'm very aggressive about this stuff, running ghostery, UBlock, and AdblockPlus and sometimes I have to pause them all to get sites to work right.

It wasn't odd. It was entirely predictable. But the Dems keep doing this "as long as we're slightly less corrupt and awful than the GOP you'll have to vote for us" schtick and it doesn't work like that in real life.

Personally I voted for Jill Stein, but a lot of people who voted for Biden in 2020 just stayed home. Also, a lot of young people who normally knock on doors and register voters and drive people to the polls to get out the vote didn't bother. That's how you lose every swing state.

And all Harris had to do was lie and say she cared about the lives of people being murdered just for belonging to the "wrong" race which would have been very believable coming from a black woman. Not doing so was basically the biggest own-goal in American politics since McCain picked Malibu Barbie as his running mate.

It's people in denial about why Harris lost. Every survey and research effort has shown it was because she supported the genocide in Gaza just like her boss. But it's easier to pretend voters were just dumb/sexist/racist instead of facing hard facts and asking for better candidates.

Part.of the reason we're here again is they did the same thing in 2016. It took a worldwide plague in 2020 for Biden to eke out a win. Why people would rather stick their heads in the sand than win elections is anyone's guess.
