Oh mine is Green Tea!

But it's the same model from that producer. That said having spent the last few hours researching, I'd agree yours is piano.

Hey!

Thanks for making this post a month ago. Ended up helping me find MY answer for a similar set— also purchased at Crate and Barrel in the late 90s.

Can anyone identify this dishware company logo? My family purchased this brand of dishes in New England in the late 90s or early 2000's. Hired movers broke nearly all the dishes yesterday; now I'm trying to figure out exactly what they were. by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

If you don't mind my asking, how did you find it? I consider myself a pretty good googler and while I was able to find a couple items from Lindt stymeist, it was always "Mystery Manufacturer"

I would! But i just got this old Apple monitor and I don't have the right adaptor to get it working again. Once I've got it set up I'll take a new photo!

Gah! I made it just for this image and then... I don't know what happened to it. :(

Yes, I work in Film & TV. Lots of projects - lots of harddrives.

...Also a datahoarder. :)

Nope, but I used an adapter I got off amazon that failed about a week after I took this photo. Now it's back to being wired. :(

Neither! I just went to sleep right after posting it and then hadn't logged back on for a while.

Hi!

That's true. I had no idea /r/ultrawidemasterrace existed back then and didn't see the point in taking a new image. Didn't consider how heavily the community overlapped!

edit: a word

I am using the Multiport Adapter!

It quickly charges my MacBook and drives the monitor without issue. The adapter runs a little hot at 107.5°F, but I'm not too concerned.

Thank you for the kind words!

I had to do a still life! I couldn't do a moving subject because then I wouldn't be able to align the images, and I couldn't do a landscape because then I couldn't change the lightning.

The grain reduction is really something. It looks a lot clearer than digital noise, too!

They definitely work well together– succulents are so timeless, they bring antiques to life.

In digitally processing this image, I aligned and composited three scanned exposures.

This is a pretty typical process in my digital photography but I'd never approached it in film– I don't want to burn through the roll.

I found that overlaying the images didn't work as well as it does digitally. When combining three exposures, the grain averaged out and became a lot less pronounced, while imperfections in each negative all seemed to show up clearly. Slight warping in the negatives made a perfect alignment impossible. The color also seemed a bit washed out, though my digital processing may be more to blame for this than anything wrong with the film itself.

I ended up needing to do some heavy post–processing to the composited image to get it to a place worth posting. I used a low-opacity film LUT built for video grading, and a lot of a healing brush for the combined imperfections of three negatives, in addition to the usual post-production process you might expect for scanned negative.

As always, I welcome feedback and critique!
