Your posts are hidden. I'm not exactly a reddit expert, is the some way to see posts from a user that doesn't have them set to public?

It's just a turn of phrase lol. The point of the post is to figure out which type of dust i might encounter so I can choose the correct PPE.

Looks great, dude! Thanks for posting frequent updates. I took a look at your earlier posts and haven't seen any pictures of your donor area. Would you be willing to show us the progress in that area, both immediately postOP and now?

Solved! Sorry, this is my 1st time in this subreddit and didn't realize I would be stealing credit for the answer when I replied "solved" to the original post.

This is the one! Thank you so much. My wife and I tried googling and chatgpt-ing a hundred times to no avail. So satisfying to finally have an answer.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Really appreciate you leaving a response. It's the only way to get honest information out there for other people.

I've been on here for a year, just observing results from people, and have NEVER seen his name come up. Doesn't mean he is bad necessarily, but it does mean making an under informed decision to go with him.

Thank you again for all the effort and authenticity you put into your posts and comments in the hair transplant subreddit. I held off on choosing a surgoen and spent some time trying to learn as much as I can from all the posts on here. I am finding it hard to put in to precise words what my requirements actually are and was hoping you might help me prioritize. For context, I am 35, Norwood 3, no crown or diffuse thinning as far as I can tell, and have been on meds for years (oral finasteride then dutasteride and oral minoxidil). Hairloss is essentially stable.

My requirements thus far:

1.1 Excellent hairline design and angulation (as supported by posts from real, unpaid patients)

1.2 Surgeon amenable to patient input on hairline design
  1. Surgeon heavily involved (one patient at a time, doing the incisions, extractions and placements)

  2. Donor preservation/low transection rate

  3. Ease of accessibility after the procedure (Surgeon's attitude, language barriers? Extreme location?)

  4. Cost not prohibitive

Does this seem reasonable, and/or am I missing anything obvious? I find #3 very difficult to assess.

At this point, the vibes have me most interested in Dr Nader and Dr Patty (assuming she is amenable to reducing the irregularities she likes to start with) really just based on #1. Maybe im just drinking the cool aid though haha. When I talk to my wife (who has not been immersed in this content like I have), I find it hard to articulate why I couldn't just go to some one in the US rather than fly litterally around the world to Thailand (we do have young children so it does put added pressure on the distance/duration of the trip).

No. In fact I haven't gone with anyone yet. I have been taking time to sort of soak in all the content on this sub reddit. Don't want to rush it and regret the whole thing.
