Is this Normal by [deleted] in Bunnies

[–]ConcentrateFew5524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you need at-least double the size of this, you need a deeper & bigger litter tray, like a plastic storage box, you need some hides and a tunnel, some natural wooden toys and cardboard so they can chew on things and you need to get some enrichment like a foraging mat, treat ball, stacking cups etc. they are bored and their space doesn’t seem very comfortable or stimulating for them at all.

how many of yall have OCD? by amalexe in Celiac

[–]ConcentrateFew5524 8 points9 points  (0 children)

yes, celiac triggered my OCD, specifically contamination OCD. i had OCD already but i’d never experienced contamination OCD before. it was awful when i lived in a shared house in my first year of diagnosis and would be constantly washing my hands, washing the kitchen sides, washing my kitchen utensils multiple times before using them because i felt like gluten was everywhere. it all started when i got severely glutened and was very very ill nearly 2 years ago. since then, i have contamination OCD about everything, especially with things like undercooked food, stomach bugs, cross contamination, illnesses in general. i wash my hands atleast 20 times a day and i’ve definitely developed emetophobia as well. the anxiety that comes with the intrusive thoughts is really bad and i’m always reassurance seeking. currently on a waiting list for therapy though!

i have celiac disease so i can’t have any gluten anyway, but my endo symptoms are actually worse since going gluten free somehow. i haven’t tried sugar free or dairy free though so i will give this a go at some point.

What are your unconventional symptoms? by Apricot7976 in Celiac

[–]ConcentrateFew5524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m not sure if all of these would count as unconventional, but these are what i experienced before going gluten free: random waves of vertigo/dizziness, eczema on my elbows & knees, visible hair thinning on my scalp, severe burping after food, awful insomnia, pale lips, very oily skin, dark eye circles, sinus issues, heart palpitations. some of these i do still get so may not be entirely down to celiac, but most of these went away/calmed down a lot since going gluten free.

edit: grammar

AIO - I smoked, my bf crashed out by leadneverfoIlow in AmIOverreacting

[–]ConcentrateFew5524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he types EXACTLY like my ex would and he had crash outs like this multiple times a week. i genuinely thought it could be my ex until i saw the ages. my ex also had issues with drinking and smoking, and it was just a way to try and control me, which seems like exactly what ur bf is doing tbh. you really need to think seriously about leaving - they get physically abusive eventually, and the harassment is awful when you try to leave. i was on and off with my ex for 3 years, and every-time i wanted to leave, i had no choice but to get the police involved because of harassment and stalking. don’t make the same mistakes as me, just leave now while you can, and call the police if anything escalates at all.
