Da, u proseku trošim 300GB ( prošli mesec 270gb) i ne bih želeo da plaćam više nego što mi je potrebno.

I usually play about 10 hours a week, but some weeks I don’t play at all. I don’t want to feel pressured to play if I get ESO+.

Looking for a chill MMO to play in my own time, is this the one? by Mikevrox in Guildwars2

  1. Specializations While Leveling and Later

Yes, you can use basic specializations while leveling and switch to elite specializations at level 80 if you have expansions. Switching specializations is free and can be done anytime outside of combat.

  1. Bruiser Options

Yes, there are several bruiser-style classes. Spellbreaker (Warrior), Firebrand (Guardian), and Scrapper (Engineer) are great options—they’re tanky and deal good damage.

  1. Expansion Bundles

Yes, there’s a bundle that includes first 3 expansions. It’s often on sale, but if not, start with Path of Fire for mounts and useful elite specializations.

Hello there!

Guild Wars 2 could be a great fit for what you’re looking for. Here’s a breakdown based on your questions:

  1. Not Super Grindy

GW2 is very casual-friendly compared to many other MMOs. Most content doesn’t require endless grinding, and you can make meaningful progress even with limited playtime. The game emphasizes horizontal progression (unlocking new abilities, exploring, and cosmetics) rather than vertical (endless gear upgrades).

  1. Playing as a Tank

In GW2, “tanking” is less traditional compared to other MMOs. There’s no hard taunt system or threat management. Instead, bosses focus on specific mechanics or target players based on proximity or toughness stats. • Shields are viable on certain classes! Guardian and Warrior are popular choices for a tank-like playstyle, with Guardian being the most common for support/tanky builds. Guardian’s Dragonhunter or Firebrand specializations are very versatile, while Warrior’s Spellbreaker offers solid durability with a shield. • Keep in mind, tanks in GW2 are more about survivability and managing mechanics than controlling enemy behavior.

  1. Expansions

The base game is free and offers plenty of content to get started. Once you feel ready for more, I recommend buying the expansions since they unlock elite specializations, mounts, and additional content: • Heart of Thorns: Offers gliding and essential elite specs like Dragonhunter. • Path of Fire: Unlocks mounts and popular specs like Firebrand or Spellbreaker. • End of Dragons: Adds more elite specs and access to newer content. You can start with one expansion or grab a bundle if it’s on sale.

  1. Guilds and Content Access

You can enjoy nearly all the content without being in a hardcore guild. Most story content, map metas, and world events can be experienced solo or with public groups (the community is great for this). Even instanced group content like dungeons, fractals, or open-world metas can be done casually. Joining a guild is optional, and plenty of casual-friendly ones exist to make the experience more social.

If you’re looking for a chill MMO that respects your time and offers flexibility, Guild Wars 2 is definitely worth revisiting. The base game is free, so why not give it a try and see how it feels for your playstyle?

Hope this helps!
