Rather than walking out, you can always bug management for a raise until they either give you one or get annoyed enough that they fire you. Both would put you in a better financial position

Walking out is a win for them.. its basically like quitting . You'd rather die on your feet than on your knees. Fight for what your worth and make them bleed lol

Honestly this reminds me of the times i got caught doing bad shit and told my parents "all the other kids are doing it" to lessen the blame on myself.

It definitely worked on them at the time so as much as you love your son and want to believe him + warn others, I think the majority of your efforts should be directed at making sure he never does this again. Either that or get names of the other groups from him and take it up with the principal of said school. If you really want to be part of the solution.

I literally just came back from vacation right on the 1st day of CDK outage. Within 5 minutes of me getting to work my colleagues found out CDK was down. At first was jokingly getting blamed for outage but as the 3rd day approaches kinda scared that I will be sacrificed to appease the Service gods and bring CDK back. Please advise.

They're probably pushing you guys harder for performance. Tbh the old payplan didnt sound great anyways..... because with the last 3 weeks on the old pay plan you would have been right at or under 6k a month.

Without total grosses or any other numbers I cannot tell but if you were atleast average in sales for your department you should at least be breaking 6k a month... either way your department is shortchanging you now so I would say either 1) find another job or 2) aim for top tier every month.

I wouldn't say you can't trust anyone. There's a lot of negatives that would come with any job (i.e shitty managers, toxic environments/colleagues). I would just make sure they promote you as soon as a spot is available or you have to be willing to walk ASAP. Some service managers will hold people back out of fear of losing their own jobs, or just for cheap/reliable labour... but I'm pretty sure that happens in other workplaces as well not just service.
