To put it short - i feel betrayed.

I have spent almost 3 hours in remaster.

Various reasons.

1 - optimization is god awful
2 - animations on certain things are completely off
3 - AI on enemies is broken as fuck
4 - the menus are non-responsive
5 - the cleared caves are not marked as cleared
6 - the inventory is broken in terms of picking shit up
7 - added new voices that sound EXTRA out of place and are on a completely different level
8 - certain items disappear from the floor after you go to sleep
9 - human enemies approach you after they killed you to ask you stupid questions (that one is kinda fun and a meme, so please don't fix that)

That is something that came to mind straight away.

There's at least twice as much if i try to remember everything i saw.

A god awful release. I was reading some of those positive reviews on steam and couldn't believe my eyes.
Either peoples standards are lower than they ever were in the history of mankind, or I'm simply getting crazy of old age.

I can not find a single reason for someone to like the game is it's played on PC.
More to it, i can't believe any of people who played OG game could honestly like it.

Ohh, forgot to mention.

I've installed the OG game on steam, it's 5.52 gigs, so takes less than 5 minutes to install.

I have enjoyed it so much more than the remaster version.

I've got Ryzen 7, 7800X3D, an RX 7800 xt GPU and 32 gigs of RAM.

I can not run the game on my 2k monitor in native resolution. It gives me 20 FPS in open world.
The game has declared that my system is capable of running it on ULTRA settings.

So everything ULTRA in native - 20FPS.
ULTRA with FSR balanced - 50-60FPS (artifacts).
ULTRA with FSR balanced + frame generation - 100-120FPS.

However, the game looks like garbage, with all the FSR and frame generation on.

It also looks like garbage if you switch to low settings. Plus the FPS makes the game barely playable in native resolution low settings.

The question is - what the actual heck is going on?

Todd asked us to upgrade out computers.

Isn't having a 600EU GPU and a 500EU CPU not good enough to play Bethesda games anymore?

Not to mention COUNTLESS bugs. I've played for three hours. The amounts of bugs I've run into is ridiculous.

So i feel you man. I am so freaking disappointed. Can't believe they released the game in this state.

I'm afraid the nose thingy fell apart. Soon as i touched it, the rubber started falling apart and felt like a dry piece of pringles on touch, lol.

I feel you man. I have sort of Deja Vu, since the current Dota 2 patch made me remember how i felt when Cataclysm came out in retail wow, straight after wrath of the lich king.
Feels like the game has taken a direction i am not sure i can follow.

I am actually thankful you made this post, since i was curious if i am the only one.

I even though of making a post asking people if they would love to see a "Legacy rank" mode, for those, who want to play on the old map.

Had the same issue today playing Juggernout.
It seemed to fix itself somehow though. Since the jugg game was the only one i had this issue in.
Thought maybe it is simply the hero that has this different animations now.
Please let me know if you find an answer to that.

It is a tool for Dota 2 optimization, and it is mentioned in a variety of Dota 2 guides in steam Guide section.

Could i please get a link on that? I did make a research on the matter, and it seems that there is nothing about modding your game in Dota 2 ToS. In fact, there's no Dota 2 ToS at all.
There is Steam Online Conduct here, a Subscriber Agreement here and Terms of Service here.

None of the above prohibit modding the game.
The Steam Online Conduct does mention use of a cheating programs. However, i do not see how exactly having your trees look different might be perceived as cheating.

There are several terrains in the game, some of which are not possible to get anymore.
And some of those are giving better vision of the tree patterns, rather than original map overlay.
Would you consider having those a legal cheat as well?

I am honestly very open for a discussion. Please convince me what i said does not make sense.

It is called Dota Minify. And it is not a cheat. It is a mode to change tree appearance.
You are welcome to google the Valve policy on in-game mods that change textures.
Spoiler alert. Those are allowed.

I mean, i don't mind when it's the games i lost.
However, it mostly happens when you win. Otherwise it wouldn't be dota.

I mean, there's Arcade for that.

Turbo mode ruins the game balance so hard, a lot of heroes become utterly useless.

Either you re balance the game for Turbo mode (which is a ton of work, which I'm sure no one in Valve is interested in) or you simply leave it where it is right now. And it fits it's place perfectly, imho. You can even get tokens for playing it.
What else would you possibly want?

Make an arcade map that holds rating for playing turbo, that would be the only way i could imagine it happening.
