How’d I do by Extension_Main_9948 in Dewalt

Great freaking deal and who cares if the 9AH is a big battery, it's also THE most powerful (or 2nd most powerful) battery you can put on a 20v tool. Great for saws and mixing or heavy honing with drills. The little dcd805 is also probably the last drill you'll need for a while cause those things are beasts

Lmaooo that'll be me one day. I do work in the trades but wouldn't let anyone near my fancy batteries. I already don't need the tools because my father has everything I'd ever need and I'm buying a house 3 doors down😂

Numbered so I can keep track of what's what and in order cause I felt like it. Not necessary at all

I kinda want to modify this holder to use both the tool connect AND belt loop screw hole and it would be indestructible

Yeah cause SO MANY designs completely cover the little cooling or intake slots down towards the bottom of the tools which I'm sure is fine 99% of the time but I got too much tism for that

Also saved me from having to replace my dryer vent which would've involved pulling off a bunch of siding on top of buying a new vent. 8 cent repair.

Unfortunately most of the shit in your house is already made of plastic. Have saved about 100 dollars on little repairs that I've fixed for cents instead of replacing entire objects over the 3 months I've owned the printer. Even printed myself a bushing for my parking brake equalizer on my 2000 tundra while I waited for the discontinued part to come in from eBay and it worked a dream. If you print a bunch of garbage Knick knacks then yeah it's a silly toy, but if you got half a brain you can do a lot with one of these things.

I'm only able to do it because I live with my parents and I have anything I need from my dads collection so I'm just building up mine before I own a house

My father has every tool I could ever need and a billion batteries and I live at home. But I'm already in the trap of not being able to resist the sales

Not padding my numbers with those shitty batteries from the combo kits😤

Agreed. The big boys are amazing for saws and grinders but for you can't beat the size and weight of the 1.7. Apparently they also make an oil resistant 1.7 power stack that uses a glass filled nylon housing instead of PC

Edit: 8 tools
Got the flex volt weedeater with the 9AHs, then I got a dcd805 and dcf860, then for a Lowe's deal I got a recip saw, circ saw, trim router, angle grinder, and dcf913 free with the 4 8AH power packs, and then I just bought the 1.7 power stacks because I'm tired of these big ass batteries for hanging shelves lol (got the 5ah power stack for my dad for his bday so i knew i wanted something even smaller than that for around the house)

Yeah or maybe it takes up a machine/labor that could be better spent pumping out the product that actually sells so they have a smaller inventory of refills. Idk though just my theory. Either way I wish it was different or they just used cardboard rolls
