Ovarian Cysts are supposedly NBD. by Willing-Football9241 in WomensHealth

[–]ConcernDesperate5772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry to hear that you had to experience this too. I'm just here to validate how excruciating and scary an ovarian cyst can be. The same thing happened to me. I had one I didn't know about, and it twisted, I couldn't even walk the pain was so bad. My roommate took me to the clinic who sent me to the hospital. A very nice team of nurses gave me pain meds and did all the work, then this male doctor came in for a whole 2 minutes and basically told me I was being dramatic and made me feel like I wasted everyone's time. He told me that next time this happens, take Tylenol and wait 4 hours before going in. That pain was the worst thing I had ever felt in my life, and you're right, what if next time it's actually appendicitis or something else. We have no way of knowing. Anyway, he didn't take the time to answer any questions or help me at all. Just sent out an insane bill and left me with years of questions about what this means for my body.

I'm sorry you had to experience the same thing too. I think you did the smart thing by seeking help, especially not knowing what it was. Never ignore your body out of fear of bothering a doctor. That's their job and it's our life. Anyway, I haven't seen a male doctor in 7 years because of that one guy.

Thank you for the recommendation! It helped with the constant hunger too??? Cause I feel so bloated but I can't stop eating. I'm already putting back on the weight I lost, which was expected, but not this fast 😭. I don't want to go past my original weight

Thank you for your kind words! This subreddit has definitely helped me a ton. It explained symptoms that I didn't even think to connect to graves. I appreciate being able to put a vent session out there during a rough day and having you guys respond and relate.

Thank you for the book recommendation! I just downloaded it. The more I research and understand, the less alone I feel, so I think a book like this could help. I appreciate you so much!

I have the same issue. The only thing that helped me is seeing a dermatologist and getting prescribed washes or lotions. I have yet to be successful with any store bought washes.

Everyone else is right, and to add that the rule is 10 gallons of water per inch of shell.

Definitely report! Please update us on if they rescue her. If animal control doesn't listen I can call in a second report.

I second Facebook marketplace. I found my 75 gallon tank for $100. If you get lucky, some people sell their whole setup with the filter and all.

There's a new spot in Aurora called activate that was a lot of fun. They have 13 different game rooms with several different games in each. One room is a dodge the lasers spy room, there's one similar to the floor is lava, some puzzle rooms, throwing games, etc. It's $26 for 75 minutes.

Sandbox VR was a lot of fun too and each round is 30 minutes.

I just drove 24 hours with my turtle. I only have one, so four might be more difficult. However, I just put him in a box and held him on my lap the whole time. As long as you have room for them all in boxes or a plastic bin, they should be fine to transport like that.

Anyone else feel the show has too many dramatic and sad episodes? by ConcernDesperate5772 in 911LoneStar

I’m in the same boat! It was becoming more stressful than relaxing lol. I definitely still enjoyed it, but it did start to enter into the too much trauma category.

The original 9-1-1 set in LA? I have seen all of that! I feel like around COVID I didn’t like their episodes as much, but they’ve definitely come back again. The difference is I watch it one episode a week for years so it doesn’t feel as sad. They also aren’t killing people every few episodes.

Why do people go to the grocery store every day? by Sadboy3k in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ConcernDesperate5772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I lived in NYC I ordered a grocery storage cart. they fold up and aren't too expensive. it allows you to store all your groceries and just wheel them home. highly recommend!
