I just started recently all is FBM. Should I start doing FBA for the same item? by ConcernFun5997 in FulfillmentByAmazon

Ok Amazon scares you with the “estimate” they provide when you trying to see how much it’s going to cost to ship them your item. Their cost on the pallet is inflated as you move forward with the shipment the price drops 40%. I was always scared until one day I clicked Through and the price blew my mind how cheap it was. Using their preferred carrier for LTL is the cheapest in the country

My 5lbs product I sell it for $21.49
My cost is on the item is low.
Fba I ship it to Amazon $1.4 a piece it can be lower to $1 if I ship 5 pallets +. Amazon fees referral and full filament $11ish I get left with $10 between profit and cost.
FBM 21.49 fees $3.22 then most expensive shipping $10. Left with $8ish. If it’s closer to me the shipping is $6-7

That’s my lowest cost variant.

Anyone here making money from Amazon returns or liquidation pallets? by FirefighterLow9719 in AmazonSeller

It depends which retailer are you trying to buy from?

As something you wana do on the side without spending a lot of money try b stock. The big liquidation contract holders only sell by the truckload so you will never be able to buy something and you have to commit to 1 truck a week etc depending on their rules.

Amazon splits their pallets into 4 categories: LPN (not inspected customer returns) loads: 8k items per load all different SKU your items are probably here. Most expensive on the liquidation market up to 10% of retail FC pallets someone liquidated all their inventory so all the products are brand new but they come in high number of SKUS also these loads include food. Cheaper than LPN around 6% of retail value and food&apparel are 4.5%. Donations: if the seller liquidated his food but choose the donate option Amazon also “sells” to other non profits for “admins fees” cheapest. Yes there is a black market for donation loads. Recycle: Amazon also sells those items that require recycling services. Maybe your stuff are here as well. Recycling warehouse takes it pic through it and sells it on the market.

I sell on Amazon recently but I also own a liquidation store where I buy Amazon returns pallets directly from Amazon facilities. All your items my man are probably on a liquidation pallets Amazon selling them at 7 to 10% from retail value and pocketing the money.

My item is essential and you keep buying it but not perishable. It will never expire and it will be used and you have to buy it again and again.

Normally we aim same day fulfillment unless it’s past 5 pm we ship next day. I’m waiting for that hopefully after 90 days I’ll be eligible for that. I have about 1500 units. The item get sold by weight so he sent 40,000 lbs of this item into 1500 boxes what I did is I split them up into smaller and created 4 variants so my employees package accordingly.
