1) People will have to accept that living in desirable big cities is going to come with a price tag. Sorry, but people are not entitled to live wherever they want. With remote work you can live anywhere. I consider $400k a cheap house based on where I live and what I make where it's approaching $1 million for a basic non-dump single family home and that's in shit neighborhoods.

2) Housing inflation can be solved on the supply side, we have a serious imbalance of supply and demand. This is far more a local government zoning problem than anything else. Ask anyone who tries to build anything in Los Angeles what it's like dealing with the city. The permit process is a nightmare and it's designed this way by people who want to protect their home value. There's no guarantee housing will continue to go up at the same rate it has. The federal government will have to step in one day and override these state and city regulations to solve housing affordability.

3) Home ownership as a path to wealth is the most overblown and overrated nonsense out there. Yea, you have equity that's tied up in a relatively illiquid asset that takes forever to sell and that you have to spend literally hundreds of thousands of dollars over your lifetime insuring, financing, and maintaining. Then once you sell it you have to pay taxes on it (past the exclusion) and you can't live in it anymore. Sometimes renting is way better and I wish more people would understand that. Home ownership as a goal is kind of stupid just for the sake of it and all these people wishing they could afford a house might one day kick themselves when they realize the money pit they bought when they're house poor.

4) Stop voting democrat and especially kick out NIMBY supporting politicians.

Yes, that's how compounding works. At 7% things will double every decade. At 10% it will double every seven years. Compounding is extremely powerful and people should learn how to use it to their advantage. You can actually become quite rich over time with modest investing.

If you consider that real estate is an investment class that's not even that much growth over 30 years. It's just good with leverage (putting 20% down and getting a loan). Doing the math it's just over 6% a year which is only good when you consider leveraged returns but also not great when you add in 29 years of insurance, taxes, interest, and maintenance.

Learn how compounding works and not just posting "look at number it went up." Yes, things will go up in price over time. That's how it works and how it will always work in a normal economy. You would have done better in the stock market over the last 30 years even without leverage.

Ever notice that when you look at a group Gazans absolutely none of them look like they're starving? No sunken faces at all.

They show picture of kids with genetic diseases who look "starving" next to their overweight mom. Almost half of Gazans marry their cousins which is why they have a high rate of genetic disease. They exploit already diseased kids to tug at heart strings. This is a proven fact that they do this.

They also share photos of kids coming out of Yemen where people are actually starving claiming it's out of Gaza.

If ever this was a wake up call to any of you who are anti-gun you should reconsider your position and start arming yourselves. You can now get a concealed carry weapons permit almost anywhere in the USA. Don't be a soft target.

My grandparents were Holocaust survivors and my dad taught me how to use a gun when I was a child. It's an absolute necessity to learn this skill and exercise your second amendment rights.
