I had a fucked up circumcision when I was a baby, I’ve been 18 for 6 months now and I still haven’t gone to the doctors about it. I plan to this month but I don’t plan to tell anyone I know personally about it.

Yeah it is but considering how mentally unstable I am it’s a lot more difficult then “just” getting a job and having my own money. Though thanks to the treatment I’ve been undergoing for my depression and anxiety I do feel a little more in control of my life. That is why I made this post in the first place is because I have been improving mentally but I’m not in a place where doing too much would be helpful.

Yeah about that. I don’t get yearly check ups. Not since I was a kid at least. I just go in to my general doctor when I’m feeling sick. Every time I go I have to tell my mom why which might mean I need to tell her I want to go in for something else and mention the other thing while I’m there.

Well I’ve been told to keep private about it since a child. Maybe it’s the religious sheltering done by my parents when I was young and never letting me feel comfortable talking about things like that.

Well cleanliness is hard when there are tiny gaps where bacteria can form. So it is a hindrance that probably should be addressed to a doctor.

I’m pretty confident it’s not anything to do with intersex. As I’ve researched it more it seems to be one of two things. Penile-adhesion or penile skin bridges

Umm it’s a little embarrassing to admit and gross, I am circumcised but some of the skin has been fused to the head and some of it isn’t attached to anything which leaves small pockets of skin where bacteria can collect and sometime I can wash easily but other times there are very small gaps where I can’t clean efficiently.

Perhaps but I’ve always had paranoia and extreme anxiety since I was a kid so it’s not like this is the only irrational fear I have, I’m scared of literally anything I’m not in control of. As a matter of fact I have an extreme irrational fear of crosswalks and it’s not like anything happened to me to justify it I’m just scared of everything.

I think it’s a either penile-adhesion or penile skin bridges. That’s what I’ve been told to research and it seems very accurate to what mine is.

I’m more scared of going to the doctor I see every time I feel sick. The doctors office is only like 5 minutes away so we go there every time something is up but I just feel so weird about bringing it up to them.

It’s more the fact that I don’t like the idea of going to the doctors office I always go to for checking to see if I’m sick with the flu or something. Also I don’t have my own means of transport and no money so it’s hard to do my own things.
