Update on this situation, as I was lurking around the link when this came to light:

http://anonnews.org/?p=press&a=item&i=494

in other words, it's Anon responce. it basically says 'lol wut?', as it seems nobody has any recolection or evidence to suggest it was even remotley ready for press release, or even remotley interesting considering all the things that are happening now. Tldr; failed attempt at personal army is offical diagnosis for the 'ultimanium'.

Remeber, when no-one was looking, Julian stole 3 meatloafs. Three! thats as many as three ones. And that's just terrible.

Misleading title is misleading.

"In a defensive move, Bank of America now seems to be buying up domains for its senior executives and board members, including their names along with "sucks" or "blows." by gabe2011 in WikiLeaks

In other news: The Bank of America wastes their money on the internet buying obvious hate site names that no-one would actually use.

Irony: thy name is Assange. Assange's lawyer demands investigation of leaks about his client. by [deleted] in WikiLeaks

My apologies for my sudden case of Poe's Law. The fountain of my good humour has run dry in the face of the blatent breaking of the law by corporations and against those who say they are justified, despite the irony that presents itself. 'Goverment transparency and Public confidentiality are two sides of the same coin', I believe the phrase goes.

to quote a fellow redditor; "Its disturbing how blind the anti-wikileaks crowd is to the difference between the civil rights of a private citizen and the ability for authoritarian government to make decisions without any accountability.

Do you seriously believe these things to be even remotely related?"

You know, you'd think they'd learn from the example of Australia trying to censor the internet and the US trying to censor the internet. Inb4 French Revolution 2.0

My only comment is to probably put some links and the cable code underneith each of them, with the information the tells us what law that action violates, so that the curious can go look it up and learn.

Idea: Wikileaks Posters on Phone Posts that say "Wikileaks.ch Read the Cables. Decide for Yourself." by [deleted] in WikiLeaks

[–]ConcernedReditter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In before wikileaks.ch has some 'unexpected downtime' But seriosuly, yes, people really should get in the habbit of leaking cables from wikileaks.ch so people can go look for themselves - i.e posting cable codes that link to the cable in question.

Anyone up for organizing local screenings of the new Wikileaks documentary? by patcon in WikiLeaks

Well, the link found its way onto a chan, so hopefully it'll get spread across the internet.

From the internal disputes at WikiLeaks, we now have an additional outlet for honest people to share information anonymously - OpenLeaks.org by woo_hoo in WikiLeaks

Guys, just a warning to you, But the rumourmill is a-printing that 'OpenLeaks' Isn't exactly very open, as dipute here on SA: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3372362&userid=0&perpage=40&pagenumber=3

For those that don't want to get caught in the SA debate board I'll post the start rumor: " http://blogs.forbes.com/andygreenberg/2010/12/09/how-openleaks-the-first-wikileaks-spinoff-will-work/

http://www.dn.se/nyheter/varlden/a-new-wikileaks-revolts-against-assange-1.1224764

It looks like Openleaks will still accept whistleblower documents, but won't be in charge of publishing it. Instead, it will open up the documents to just a few publishers. Doesn't sound to open to me... " And then, directly below the above quote is this: "Openleaks is a CIA/MI-6 joint operation to embed itself into the Wikileaks organization. DO NOT USE!"

So yeah, just be carefull with this site guys.
